This goes out to everybody that see Locanda La Candola's very nice facebook site and/or their webite. Be aware that the pictures on both this site and their website is old and NOT at all up to the standard they look like. The rooms are small and very old and in the room we booked, the airconditioning was very nosy and not possible to sleep with, when it was on. Furthermore they had placed a bucket under the aircon as it was dripping water. The cleaning was defently not up to normal standard and it was as if they where focusing all their effort on the restaurant, which was very very good indeed. But I can not recommend to stay in the hotel as I just doesnt live up the standard that they are presenting online. Be aware of mosquitos (big problem and also be aware of SCORPIONS. Yes you read correctly, scorpions. Our 5 year old son almost stepped on one when exiting our room one morning. According to the barmaid they have a lot o problems with Scorpions as the live in the ceilings in this area. We had booked 5 nights, but did want to live in a hotel where they heat was unbearable due to the faulty aircon, they mosquito problems and the chance of having a scorpoin sharing out bed. So we offered the owner to pay for an extra night (without staying there), but she did not want to and became very angry and hostile. That is why I'm writing this, so if you are planning to visit, you need to be aware of th false marketing they do and the very poor customer saticefaction they have.
