We were at Masseria Petrusella for 7 nights with our two kids, 4 and 6 years old. It was a great experience for us. The breakfast was great and we had always something new for every morning, typical italian food. Pina is a great cook and we also had dinner there. Such a great culinar experience!!! They cook everything there, from scratch. Everything was clean, and all we needed was provided, when we asked. The Spano family is great, kind and friendly and they make you feel at home. They waited for us with a welcome letter, cold water in the fridge and they gave us very useful information for what to visit, where to eat and so on. Every morning they made sure we were ok and pleased with everything. The pool area and jacuzzi is great. Also we could use it in the evening, as it was warm, clean and silent. We highly recomend them and for sure we will come back soon. If you want just to rest you can stay at Masseria, but also if you want to go to the beach, visit the near towns, everything is close (15/20 min far away). Thank you, Masseria Petrusella for all the great italian experience and for the beautiful gift when we left, the jar...
Read moreAwesome place, a wonderful oasis surrounded by olive trees, unique design of the accomodation units, spacious, very clean, all necessary amaneties available. Fully equiped kitchen, elegant design of the room, very quiet, wonderful outside space with table and chairs, ideal for dinner outdoors. Very good location, aprox. 15 min drive to Otranto. It is a great place to set your base here and just drive to different parts of the Puglia coast, many wonderful beaches in the proximity. The hosts are wonderful people, very welcoming and friendly, gave us great recommendations in terms of places to visit, nice beaches around and a great olive oil farm in the neighbouring village from where we bought some exquisite olive oil. Breakfast in their garden, right under an olive tree, with good coffee, juice, yoghurt, fruits and freshly baked pastries, is a great way to start a day there. Could not recommend this place enough, totally worth it and definitely our choice next time we are in the area! Grazie mille! A...
Read moreComing from a bustling city, and in dire need of a vacation, I was craving nature, peace and serenity, and I found all three and more at Masseria Petrusella. During the 5 days of our stay, my husband and I were greeted each morning with a smile, an excellent breakfast and tons of customized recommendations. We'd normally come back by late afternoon and enjoy the property's jacuzzi-pools, sunset views, olive grove, other guests inviting us for impromptu happy hour or the animals on the property. Overall, we feel that we couldn't have chosen a better place for our stay. Giuggilanello, the small town nearby is devoid of tourists and the perfect place off the beaten path if that's the vibe you're looking for. The rooms were new and clean and we were pleasantly surprised to have daily housekeeping. The liked having access to the mini fridge in the mini-kitchen and also enjoyed the repurposed and artistic details through the...
