Residenza Borgo 27 — Hotel in Grezzana

OMG, I can't say enough wonderful things about this gem of a place! |First of all we arrived late at 8:45 pm. The office closes at 7:00 pm. Eliza (spelling?) Met us at the front gate as Google maps had us on the back of the property vs the front. She was absolutely delightful and ever so helpful with showing us our room, the main breakfast building and what shew could show us at 9:00. She even took an extra 15 minutes to show me ( to my preferences) parking, best sites, two great restaurants and shopping of course. After a long day, it was so awesome to relax on the veranda with a bottle of wine and then retire to a romantic room. Our room was in the annex, which was such a romantic room.|This property is about 20 plus minutes from the main parking in Verona. We stayed at Borgo 27 for 4 nights, mid July. We had an apartment in the annex of the main villa and the rooms were both spacious and beautifully finished. Each had a fridge, a Nespresso machine and the beds were fantastically comfortable. The locations gives you easy access to Verona, the Valpollicella wine region and a choice of superb restaurants. We would also recommend a visit to Villa Arvedi, which Borgo 27 can arrange, where Eliza, was a perfect host. But by far the greatest quality of Borgo 27 was the people. The staff here is great and very helpful. The breakfast was your typical food but the server is ver attentative. I love the smell of the food cooking early in the morning. It's close by many great restaurants and about 20 mins from downtown verona. The rooms make you feel like you're living in an upscale italian home from the 1800s. Everything from service, breakfast, and exterior of the property was great. What killed it for me was the wifi as it was down the entire time which made searching for places difficult as you had to go down to the office everytime. If the wifi is fixed I highly recommend!!
