Residence Red Turtle — Hotel in Lampedusa e Linosa

We were 5 people + a 2 year old kid and booked an apartment at Tartaruga Rossa. We found a 2 small double bedroom with no wardrobes and a sofa bed in the kitchen area. All luggages had to be kept in a small room to be shared between us as a storage and walk in wardrobe with few space. There was a small shower with no window and only a poor extractor. We were given one hand towel, one face towel and one large towel each person for the whole week that we stayed there. In front of the apartment we had a small terrace with a table and some chairs.||||With the apartment we had a free scooter and when we asked for it the owner said that he will give it to us later and will show us how to drive it properly. However this free scooter never arrived which is disappointing because we all wanted to try and drive the scooter.||||Since we were five and 1 kid we had to hire a car and the owner gave us the only car that he said was available on island. After we realized that there were more cars in better condition that we could hire.||||Once we bought some groceries and vegetables we realized that the fridge was not cooling well. We spoke with the owner and he said that the day after he would bring someone to check the fridge. We mentioned that we had food that needed to be kept cool however nothing was offered instead. The day after, during the afternoon, the owner said that someone came and filled the fridge with gas, He said that we had to wait and see what will happen. Eventually the fridge did not cool well and again nothing was done. Milk, fruits, and food including the kid's food had to be thrown away.||||During the night we had some problems since there were no fans and it was horribly hot. The mattress were old and we could feel the springs. The person sleeping on the sofa bed had some more problems because there were missing slats. She ended moving the mattress of the sofa bed on floor.||||Will not recommend...

Ho trascorso una settimana indimenticabile al Residence Tartaruga Rossa a Lampedusa e non posso che consigliarlo vivamente! La struttura è un gioiellino situato a pochi passi dalla splendida Cala Croce, con una vista mozzafiato sul mare che regala tramonti spettacolari ogni sera. Le villette a schiera sono accoglienti, ben arredate e dotate di tutti i comfort necessari, tra cui angolo cottura, TV, Wi-Fi e veranda privata perfetta per rilassarsi.

L’atmosfera è calda e familiare, grazie alla gestione impeccabile di Lino e Luca, sempre gentili, disponibili e pronti a offrire preziosi consigli sulle migliori spiagge, ristoranti e gite da fare sull’isola. Il residence è pulito, curato nei minimi dettagli e offre spazi esterni ben attrezzati con solarium, tavolini e barbecue, ideali per godersi momenti di relax. La posizione è strategica: in pochi minuti a piedi si raggiungono sia Cala Croce che la spiaggia della Guitgia, ma la zona è tranquilla e lontana dal caos.

Un plus assoluto è il giro in barca organizzato dal residence, che ci ha permesso di scoprire la costa di Lampedusa in tutta la sua bellezza. Inoltre, il servizio navetta per l’aeroporto è stato molto comodo. Tornerò sicuramente al Tartaruga Rossa per rivivere la magia di Lampedusa in un ambiente che ti fa...
