Your hosts Jenny and Gary will make your stay in one of the suites unforgettable. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the lake. Private beach, boat trips, free wifi and parking. Ideally located for local sightseeing||The space||This old Villa has all the charm of a bygone era, yet has all the modern amenities. Our three suites have Sat TV, Wifi, refrigerators. Two have kitchens with washing machines and air conditioning. The Summerhouse and Savoy room have terraces directly facing the lake and all rooms have great lake views. We have a private beach and BBQ facility. Please note that our three suites must be booked separately. What an experience. To say we were blown away by our stay at Villa San Antonio is a huge understatement. From the moment we arrived we have never felt so welcome in all our travels. Within an hour we felt like our hosts Gary and Jen were old friends! This only grew during our four day stay which was littered with lovely personal touches, delicious breakfasts on a sun kissed terrace, a beautiful private beach on the lake, and an amazing stay in the delightful and impeccable "Summer House". We found this place on the internet whilst looking for a place to stay near Stresa and immediately fell in love with it. This was cemented after reading several other reviews and taking the advice to book the Summerhouse. Which we did.||Upon arrival we were not disappointed, Gary and Jenny made us feel most welcome. Showing us our room and how everything works and where everything is etc. The views from villa are amazing and something you'll never tire of looking at. A 'pinch me' kind of feeling comes over you. We enjoyed Gary and Jenny's company and they were always on hand to recommend places to visit and where to dine out in the evening. They were happy to supply coals for the BBQ if you just wanted a night in relaxing on the summerhouse terrace with a glass or two of wine. Breakfast is on a beautiful terrace above the Summerhouse which consisted of crepes and an omelette which set us up for the day ahead. ||We honestly can't recommend staying here enough. The view from our cosy apartment was spectacular, sunrise and sunsets an added bonus, we had all we could ask for, plus wonderful hosts, who went above and beyond the normal for our stay, greeting us with refreshing drinks after a hectic arrival, cooking us beautiful breakfasts of homemade crepes followed by creamy scrambled eggs, fresh orange juice and coffee. We had a wonderful stay with Gary and Jenny, you will both remain in our memories and our hearts forever along with Sasha who was delight especially as I was missing my own furbabies.||I would suggest that you have your own car we did everything by public transport and taxi, we found a wonderful taxi driver who was there when ever we needed him, but it would have been easier with our own car.||We loved our walks down to the local wine bar through the back streets, where we were treated like family.||Thank you Gary Jenny...
