Abetaia — Hotel in Levanto

This was our second stay at the Hotel Abetaia, and the experience was as great as the first time. The hotel is very comfortable and ideally located in a forest not far from Levanto ; it is very quiet, easy to get to from the Autostrada and very convenient to get to Levanto and catch the train to visit the Cinque Terre. The personel is very friendly and caring, and will provide great advice regarding things to do and places to go to.||There is also a great restaurant where you can enjoy the evening with some delicious Italian food. Be sure to stay several nights so you can have a go at the different deserts on the menu, they are all amazing! And the owner has also some great Italian wines for you to discover. ||This is one of these great places you want to keep as your little secret, but it's even too good for that! Hotel and restaurant were the best of our stay in Italy among many nicely appointed places. Michaeli the owner and wine expert - also a Harley devotee - was charming, helpful and generous. When we arrived after a day of driving, he poured us a beer and set up some furniture to sit outside in the sun. His wine expertise and interested friendly manner were great. The food was excellent with good seafood. The room was modern with a great shower and bed. The location to see the Cinque Terre was excellent without being in one of the towns. They provided parking passes for the train station - 6 km away - and we spent days walking the area and suing the train. Overall would stay again for the convenience, food and hospitality. Truly...

We stayed here at the end of our 7 week tour||From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed||The welcome from Sonia was warm and open and that attitude from her staff continued throughout our stay ||Rooms are large and modern and beautiful setting amongst the tall trees the property is just off the toll road and only about 6 km from Levanto, whilst Parking is a premium there the owner may be able to loan you a residents pass||From Levanto you can easily train the coast towns and then return to your Forrest sanctuary ||The property is a credit to the owners and if in the area again would always stay ||Sonia is also a chef and she and Maher husband have a sensational restaurant of an evening that completes a very special stay...
