Stayed here recently for two nights to explore the cinque terre region on an italian road trip. The B&B firstly is located out of town so a car is a must - IF you can actually get parked in the town! Very very difficult. We stayed at this B&B firstly because it had a pool - Immaculately clean, just no shade! With a 4 month old baby this is not ideal, but they managed to rustle up an umbrella.. which we had to lean against a wooden fence as no where to put it in the ground. So this would definately require some shade on a hot day. Steps to get to everywhere so not ideal with a buggy, luggage etc too. We also chose this place because it had breakfast - It was of low standard. Over ripe fruit, ham, cheese and bread. Even the cereal had no milk. We had to eat elsewhere as it was not sufficient and definately NOT worth the money. A very expensive accommodation for what it was offering and we do wish we stayed elsewhere. Rooms incredibly dated and in need of a refurb, air con barely worked if at all and at the cost of a central London hotel,...
Read moreCarlo and his wife run a lovely place. The grounds are beautiful and green, with a pool that we unfortunately didn’t get a chance to go in. Breakfast is offered in the morning, and it is Mostly homemade and enough to satisfy everybody. We were provided with a courtesy levanto parking card, which helped us park during the day at the train station on our trip to cinque terre. (4mn drive away by the way) we also got good recommendations on where to eat in levanto. The orchid room Was on the small side but clean and spotless and really we only were there to sleep so it didn’t really bother us. I wish it had more pillows but I didn’t even ask for more. I will for sure go back and recommend the place to friends the only thing is you need to read the check in instructions and timings carefully or might have to pay late check...
Read moreWe enjoyed a peaceful ,relaxing, comfortable staying at this lovely family owned guesthouse. It used to be an ancient Olive pressing mansion immersed in the promontory to the olive trees harvests just on top of the Levanto sea view. We appreciated the close distance to the local amenities of Cinqueterre and the possibility of accessible car parking to the railway. The rooms are clean, comfortable and modern , Buffet continental breakfast offers a lot of mouthwatering local specialities and classic Italian hot and cold beverages, their cakes are delicious. A quiet and relaxing swim at the pool before the sunset is yet another reason why we would immediately book again for another staying here at Giannis and...
