Apparthotel Sella Ronda — Hotel in Livinallongo del Col di Lana

Firstly, they failed to mention beforehand that they demand 100euro as a deposit, which must be in cash. Very inconvenient if you’re going home the following day and need that money in your own currency. The check in and check out times are very tight, (check in 4pm, check out 9:30) especially considering they’re insistent that you as the guest keep the room clean… why the need for such a late check in and early check out times? The sauna was very good, but the jacuzzi was not that warm, and absolutely stank. They don’t provide any tea/coffee in the room either. The room itself was clean, although much smaller than it looks in the photos, and the decor looks like it’s been taken out of a caravan. But spacious enough and nice balcony.

Overall would not stay here again, its not a very welcoming place and had we known what we know now, we would pay a little extra to stay...

Sono oramai anni che io e mia moglie cerchiamo, durante il periodo estivo, il fresco della montagna ed è, da tanto tempo, che volevamo visitare le Dolomiti. Quest'anno, finalmente, liberi da impegni di lavoro, diradati gli ultimi dubbi e paure legate alla corrente emergenza epidemiologica, procurati il green pass e risolti una marea di piccoli contrattempi, è scattata l'operazione Dolomiti. Il nostro obiettivo era trovare un appartamento, ma questa volta nei criteri personali di indagine abbiamo dovuto includere: che la struttura ci ispirasse rigore e serietà per il rispetto delle norme sanitarie, che fosse pet-friendly, che avesse un garage ed, infine, che fosse supportata dai servizi di ristorazione. La scelta è caduta sull’Apparthotel SellaRonda a 3,6 km da Arabba ed a 100 mt dall’Hotel Monte Cherz sul Passo Campolongo. L’AppartHotel, insieme all’Hotel Monte Cherz, è una struttura a conduzione familiare. La nostra personalissima percezione è stata quella di vivere la vacanza in strutture condotte da “brave persone” che lavorano, con passione e dedizione. Alla reception è quasi onnipresente Cristina che, in modo pacato ed efficiente, risponde con estrema cortesia e con sorriso ad ogni quesito in almeno quattro lingue (ma sospetto siano di più), e come si fa nelle strutture più serie, ai quesiti a cui non può dare una risposta immediata, provvede in un secondo tempo. Gli appartamenti sono confortevoli, deliziosi e ben insonorizzati; non manca nulla. Il nostro appartamento poi aveva una estensione di 42 mq e con due bagni. La nostra vacanza ad Arabba è stata bellissima fino a quando, purtroppo, un evento imprevisto ci ha posto in una condizione personale di seria difficoltà. Malgrado l'Apparthotel non avesse alcun obbligo nell'aiutarci, il suo titolare Sig Martino e sua figlia Cristina ci hanno fornito un concreto, inaspettato e provvidenziale aiuto. Segno evidentemente della passione posta nel proprio lavoro che, in questo raro caso, supera i limiti della formale professionalità ed evidenzia dedizione ed attenzione verso il cliente. We booked for 4 nights at Apparthotel Sellaronda and we were extremely happy. The appartments are close to Passo Campolongo, every morning there is a shuttle service to bring the skiers to the Passo where the slopes are. We never waited more than 2 minutes to jump on the shuttle. THe ski room is big enough for all the guests.||The appartments are big, clean, the kitchen was equipped with microwave, fridge...nothing to say.||In the evening it is possible to order fresh bread for the morning after.||It is far from Arabba and Corvara so it is a convenient solution only for skiers, but in our case we were really happy and we would reccomend it!||There is also a wellness area but we...
