A Cozy Gem – 5 Stars for a 2-Star Hotel!

We stayed at Hotel Mignon for one night (7-8/3/2025), and it was an absolute delight. It’s a small, family-run hotel with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere.

The room was very clean, simple, and modest—exactly what you need for a short stay (though I wish there was a kettle in the room). The breakfast was a highlight: fresh pastries and cakes baked by the owner’s mother, and a selection of eggs, cheese, and meats prepared fresh to order! Coffee and tea were also made on request.

The owner was incredibly friendly, always greeting us with a big smile and a helpful attitude. He explained the area and even helped us choose a ski resort that suited our needs. The location is also great—just 10 minutes from the Costa ski resort and 20 minutes from Fondo Grande.

We spent our autumn holidays in this lovely family–run hotel. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The hosts prepared us the most delicious dishes one could wish for. As we arrived with an infant and a 6-year-old, we made a lot of smaller stralls in the surroundings. There is plenty to see there: There are several beautiful forrest paths, a small lake, a playground, a gorge, and several caves from World War I. Ho trascorso una settimana con il mio compagno e la mia bimba di poco più di un anno in questo piccolo hotel a conduzione familiare dall’ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Al nostro arrivo ci siamo sentiti subito a casa. Il proprietario Claudio è stato davvero gentile, disponibile e pronto a soddisfare qualsiasi esigenza, oltre che a darci svariate indicazioni sul da farsi in zona. La mamma di Claudio, Graziella, è la regina della cucina: ci ha deliziati tutte le mattine con diversi tipi di torte fatte in casa e ci ha accolti a cena con succulenti piatti tipici a scelta. Davvero tutto buonissimo!!! La posizione dell'hotel (tra Folgaria e Lavarone) è comoda come punto di partenza per escursioni e passeggiate, ma allo stesso tempo tranquilla ed immersa nel verde. L’hotel dispone di un parcheggio privato proprio di fronte. La camera assegnataci era ben tenuta, pulita e dotata di balcone vista montagne (e vista camosci!). Il nostro soggiorno è andato oltre ogni aspettativa e ci è rimasto nel cuore! Non potevamo chiedere di più. Consiglio vivamente questo hotel!!! Un due stelle da far invidia a tanti 3 o 4 stelle!
