Hotel Seggiovia — Hotel in Magnifica Comunità degli Altipiani Cimbri

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. We had a truly|fantastic holiday. It is lovely to see such a brilliant family run|hotel. Everything was kept immaculately.||Anything we asked about we were helped with quickly and nothing seemed|too much trouble. Embarrassingly, we have almost no spoken Italian|and only a couple of the hotel team have very good English. For us|though, this was a positive – we are in Italy & we see this as part of|the point of the holiday – we want our children to understand the|value in learning foreign languages and to understand how other|countries seem so much better at learning English than we are at|learning Italian, French, Spanish etc. The children were so impressed|with the food that we were using Google translate some evenings in|order to leave thank you notes||The bedrooms were of such a high standard – one of the nicest, most|spacious rooms we have ever had as a family – and remarkable in terms|of typical ski accommodation. As was the food! Do not go expecting|rubbish ski food – the cuisine here was really fantastic. Kids want me|to mention the excellent hot chocolate. The risotto was to die for!|Great half board deal. Plenty of hot water in showers & lots of towels|and robes in room.||Most in our party were not accomplished enough skiers to ski to or|from the nearest lift at Francolini until near the end of the week but|the ski bus was reliable if busy. We love the slopes in Folgaria –|awesome skiing.||Slight hassle is that Folgaria only seem to have one taxi company - if|you head in to town for an evening, you are at their mercy in terms of|pricing (notable given how reasonable all other prices were). Again|the hotel were as helpful as possible with info re this & it was our|choice to eat in town for a change – can’t recommend the half board|deal at the hotel enough.||The hotel also sorted our ski hire & ski passes.||Spa was very nice & as you’d expect a little busy at peak times.||Kids club would be good if you have young kids or kids that speak|Italian – we didn’t have much need of it as our room was so big & the|common spaces in the hotel were also so lovely.||The family owning the hotel are genuinely lovely people. Hotel a 5 minuti da Folgaria a conduzione famigliare. Camera spaziosa e abbastanza pulita (un po' di polvere qui e la trovata), Cibo buono anche se a volte non di qualità eccelsa, colazione appena sufficiente (caffè e cappuccino tramite macchinario, prodotti confezionati e industriali). Il grande difetto riscontrato è la poca organizzazione verso chi non è avvezzo alla montagna mancando una proposta o un programma vero e proprio per i neofiti del luogo, dovevamo continuamente chiedere alla reception cosa si potesse fare nei dintorni, cosa a volte un po' frustrante. Animazione inesistente e attività pubblicizzate sul sito mai svolte (per esempio la passeggiata notturna). Manca totalmente una zona di intrattenimento per gli adulti (tavolo da ping pong, biliardino, freccette, etc.) mentre la zona per i bambini è discretamente fornita di giochi e il giardino offre uno scivolo e un tappeto elastico di piccole dimensioni. Consigliato a chi serve un buon appoggio per fare escursioni ed ha esperienza/conoscenza del posto oppure per chi ama sciare tutto il giorno l'inverno, sconsigliato a chi cerca una vacanza 0 pensieri.

RISPOSTA: Vi rispondo per punto visto che la risposta va ancor di più ad ingrandire il senso di "presa in giro" e insoddisfazione:

I servizi di animazione non sono stati garantiti perché l'animazione praticamente non c'era se non 40 minuti di baby dance serale (da vostro sito:spesso organizziamo anche spettacoli dal vivo all’esterno, suggestive lanternate notturne e in inverno, dopo la chiusura delle piste, veri e propri giretti a bordo dei gatti delle nevi). Ci siamo già lamentati in loco della situazione e la vostra risposta è stata la stessa, scaricando la colpa al servizio di animazione esterno. Mi sarei aspettato non dico uno sconto ma almeno delle scuse alla fine della villeggiatura per un mancato servizio da noi PAGATO! Per quanto concerne la camera è stata trovata un po' di polvere nella cabina armadio, questa non è stata una situazione o condizione di estremo disagio, l'ho notificato per permettervi di migliorare il servizio (infatti alla camera ho dato 4 su 5) Non di qualità eccelsa non significa schifo, il cibo era buono ma certi piatti non erano il TOP, ovviamente qui si scende nel lato soggettivo della questione. Quello che è oggettivo è che la colazione presentava crostate, ciambelloni e brioche industriali. Se erano fatti da voi vi faccio i complimenti per la precisione di produzione! Il macchinario del caffè sarà anche equiparabile a Wall-E come efficienza però mi sarebbe piaciuto un cappuccino fatto da persone umane. Per le escursioni apprendo solo ora la possibilità di una guida dedicata e NON si è mai vista una guida di media montagna ne tanto meno un programma settimanale, tant'è che abbiamo chiesto spesso cosa potessimo fare alla reception (non eravamo i soli) e la risposta era o di guardare in bacheca locandine con servizi non forniti direttamente dall'hotel o al momento si ragionava su qualche proposta suggerita a voce...ci siamo trovati spesso a dover cercare per conto nostro su Google le attività in zona... come soluzione bastava stampare un programma di benvenuto da dare ai clienti con tutte le attività nella settimana programmate (programmate quindi in precedenza con la fantomatica guida/animazione), i numeri utili etc. Magari prendetela come suggerimento per i prox clienti che verranno a soggiornare da voi.

Detto ciò non mi rimane che augurarvi il meglio...

We stayed in Hotel Seggiovia last year (Jan -Feb 2019) for a skiing holiday and returned again in January this year (2020) again to ski.||Hotel Seggiovia is perfect for skiing in the Folgaria ski area. The ski area is best suited to intermediate skiers and those learning to ski. We think that hotel Seggiovia is better for the former (intermediates) because the run down to the Hotel is not the easiest.||The Hotel has heated ski lockers and is approx. 50m walk from the nearest ski lift. The Hotel has a well-equipped spa with a sauna, jacuzzi and steam room which is great for a relaxation after a hard days skiing.||The owners of the Hotel, the Port family, and their staff are welcoming. The Hotel is clean. The meals are generous.||The Hotel offers a free children's entertainer (although the children in our family are too old for this service) it is great for those with Children aged 10...
