Julian Alps Chalet Resort — Hotel in Malborghetto Valbruna

The best part of this hotel was the services the owners provided. They gave very professional service and provided an outstanding chalet. The chalet was clean, warm, and beautiful. There are three chalets. We stayed on the first one with a fireplace in it. The chalet had heaters, cable TV, and free wifi. There's what looked like a king sized bed upstairs with another little bed and a balcony. Downstairs there is a nice restroom and kitchen and a sofa bed with a huge glass sliding door. My girlfriend and I slept on the sofa bed, which I found a little uncomfortable although my girlfriend thought it was fine. But apparently the king sized bed upstairs and the other small bed are comfortable. My girlfriends mother and two young siblings slept on them and seemed to have no problem. The cabin in its entirety is absolutely amazing and is well built. The restaurant was okay, but could use better service. The best part was the service provided by the owners. One of the owners picked us up and dropped us off from the airport for an extra fee. During our stay she drove us around into town in Tarvisio to go skiing and shopping. And also took us to a couple of grocery stores, sight seeing to nearby lakes, and to Mount Lassari. The owners were very friendly and helpful especially since we didn't speak any Italian and would help us with translating at times. This trip wouldn't have been the same without the service provided by them. Overall, the chalets are nice and the owners are friendly and helpful people. Definitely worth the time and money spent and we will be coming back again...

We were were welcomed by a dream like wooden house with decent garden on a fairytale landscape, quiet, close to the nature, and with the fresh and cold air. In the chalet, there were homemade cake form the host, also homemade jam, honey from her every morning.||||This was our first time to stay in chalet on the mountain, not the hotel, but the owner helped us a lot. We ordered the breakfast, as we did not know where was the super market on the mountain ( it has a very big supermarket, we later found it, just 7 minutes drive) the owner prepare the breakfast every morning for us, and put the basket on our chalet door , it was like a gift from an elf! ||||The house was clean, warm ( it was very cold on the mountain even at June, morning temp was 5C) ||||We stayed in the smallest, but it can maximum to house 6 people! Gli Chalet Alpi Giulie sono tre chalet (un quarto in montagna) situati in una bellissima vallata (Val Saisera) non distanti dal piccolo paese di Valbruna.|Il panorama è spettacolare, da 10 e lode, come lo è lo chalet dove abbiamo soggiornato per una settimana ("Antiche Atmosfere").|Sabina, la proprietaria è stata gentilissima, professionale e disponibile a soddisfare ogni nostra esigenza.|All'arrivo siamo stati accolti con una buonissima torta fatta in casa, una confezione di marmellata ed un ottimo sciroppo di sambuco.|Sabina ha saputo sapientemente illustrarci tutte le caratteristiche dello chalet, nonché le attività che potevamo fare nei dintorni.|Lo chalet, con giardino e piccolo orticello privato... con vetrata vista mozzafiato sulle montagne, si sviluppa su 2 piani.|A piano terra ingresso, salotto con angolo cottura, divano letto, una bellissima stube e bagno.|Il piano superiore, dotato di balcone, è interamente dedicato alla camera da letto (letto matrimoniale con lettino che può diventare all'occorrenza doppio).|Presente riscaldamento in tutta la struttura.|Abbiamo trascorso 7 giorni fantastici.... DA FAVOLA... ritrovando i giusti ritmi della vita.|A pochi km Tarvisio, il confine austriaco e sloveno.|Non escludiamo un nostro ritorno a breve magari nel periodo invernale.
