Whether it was picking a bed and breakfast or how unique Maria and Petro are as hosts, I never had a better service where I felt myself at home and taken care of.

Maria and Petro provided an excellent hospitality with their food, cozy home, company and guidance. The breakfasts each morning were extra special with the cakes, coffee, multiple kinds of hors d'oeuvres and eggs but more with hosts' company and valuable information they have shared regarding sights and places to visit. It helped immensely to plan our days.

They also connected us with other guests and facilitated a fantastic atmosphere. One does feel really safe and part of the family. We were also really lucky our mid-April Easter break came with fantastic weather, almost as good for us to swim but alas it still needed some time. The location is also fantastic as the stair by the shore are 10 meters away if wish to soak in the sun. Highly highly...

This place and our host Adele were definitely one of the highlights of our very first trip to Lake Como! When I started to plan the trip, I was searching for an authentic place with a lake view that would be away from tourist areas but still close enough to reach them by car. At one point it seemed impossible to find such place for a great price but luckily we found our perfect spot!

I read a lot of positive comments about the breakfast, and we definitely agree with these opinions. You feel like being at home, where a super friendly and caring "Italian mom" is taking care of you and giving you only the best things!

It is true that Olcio itself is a small place and the surrounding area can be explored quickly, but it was a quiet, beautiful, and calm place to return to after a day of discovering the main sights around Lake Como and just relax.

We were 3 people and stayed in the Penthouse...

We had a fantastic stay at this B&B in Mandello del Lario! The room was clean, cozy, and had beautiful lake views from our window 💙. Adele, the host, is truly special ~ so warm and welcoming. She gave us amazing tips on what to see and do around Lake Como, and all her suggestions were perfect. Breakfasts were homemade and delicious! The whole place feels like a home away from home. Highly recommend, and we can’t wait to come back! Konstantin & Dwi

Adele who runs the place is a fantastic manager. Everything you require is here. Rooms are amazing and its right on the lake. Breakfast cooked by Adele is first class. Minutes from Olcio railway station. If its lots of restaurants you’re after and mad crowds then this is not for you. If its a super comfortable relaxing vacation then this place is perfect. Done a bit of travelling through Italy and this one is my favourite place.
