This was my first visit to Italy, I travelled with my friend. We went on a half board basis, breakfast at the hotel and the evening meal was at a local restaurant just a couple of minutes away. We were asked to go over and get a meal as we had arrived at around 9.30pm, normally you have to eat between 6.30 and 7.30pm which was a little early for us. Staff at the hotel were friendly and it was clean and extra blankets available in the room.Decent shower and towels.Small fridge with 2 complimentary bottles of water.Safe included at no charge which you change the combination on to lock and unlock. There is also a lift in the hotel. Breakfast was from 7.30 am till 11am, choice was plentiful with a few hot things on offer which we were not expecting.||Location, we felt was in the middle of nowhere if you dont have a car. A few local restaurants and a Tabacchi where you could get cigarettes ( which were very reasonable anything from 4.80 euros for a pack of 20), edge of the lake a 5 minute walk away with splendid view and that was all that was in the vicinity. YOU NEED TO HAVE A CAR if you are staying at this hotel unless you want to spend an absolute fortune on taxis to get anywhere and see anything. We fortunately teamed up with another couple on the first day and shared taxi fares and this enabled us to see the sights we had come to see otherwise a lot of our money would have been spent on the horrendous fares. Its was a minimum of 20 euros 1 way and we travelled a mile and a half to the port to catch a boat for a trip, 2 of us had walking difficulties and walking was not an option. There is one bus a day and 1 back which can be cancelled on a whim. ||We did not have a problem with the breakfast at the hotel which as I previously said was plentiful in choice and of good quality, however the half board option at the loacal restaurant was seriously lacking in quality, quantity and limited choice and I felt let down the hotel as the quality was not the same as the quality of the hotel breakfast which was splendid. My main course on the first evening was chicken and I was presented with 2 scrawny chicken legs with a spoonful of gravy and a few small pieces of veg, nothing else. I dont think anywhere in the world would offer this as a main course. On the second evening it was the same and I actually was given the choice of pork or pork so I asked for a vegetarian option and was given slices of tomato with bits of cheese on top instead. We were disappointed in the quality and choice and my friend rang the UK the next day who got in touch with the local rep and after some time on the phone the rep did come to the hotel. There was 3 other english couples who spoke to the rep and credit where credit is due the rep and the hotel management sorted the problem out. We grouped together as the rep had managed to secure us a private minibus that would take us wherever we wanted to go and visit and we split the cost between us. We were moved to another restaurant for the remainder of our stay and received top quality food and service. It was the beginning of the season and nothing in our area was open , you had to visit the busier areas.||Dont forget to make use of the Wellness centre which you can use free of charge, sip herbal teas and book treatments if you wish.||Pack a hoody and a decent jacket as the weather can be tempremental at this time of year and if you are on a boat trip its freezing so wrap up. In the height of the summer season you would probably be glad of the breeze.||If you are travelling home to the UK you are unable to buy cigarettes or tobacco at the airport , so buy in the resort, you are able however to bring 6 litres of spirits back.||We enjoyed our stay once we had ironed out the getting around issues and the food in the evening. ||||The hotel is clean, comfortable with friendly staff and a good base if you have a car to get around. For us we needed to be in a more central area with lots going on as we...
Read moreWe've been staying here for three nights as part of a 10-day multi-lake holiday we booked at the Dutch ANWB. We were staying with two kids (14 and 11) in a huge apartment with kitchen that offered a loft with two separate beds with airconditioning, a separate bedroom closed off by double doors and a separate airconditioning unit, all arranged around a square and overlooking a nice restaurant. ||Pros:|* Has a full kitchen with cooker, refrigerator and separate freezer|* Simple bathroom with shower and toilet. There's no separate toilet.|* Has a huge balcony with a full lounge set and two separate loungers. Also has a big foldable drying rack.|* You get a welcome drink (juice or Prosecco)|* Extremely friendly personnel|* Pretty clean but needs some maintenance here and there.|* Two very quiet airconditioning units that keep the entire apartment nice and cold|* Free parking outside as well as in an underground garage (although there were limited spaces because of some leakage)|* If you book half board, breakfast is served in the hotel itself and pretty decent. Dinner is provided through an adjacent restaurant which has a great atmosphere. ||Cons:|* There's no separate toilet, so with two older kids, that can be challenging.|* Wifi is pretty bad and really needs an improvement.|* The inner doors creak and are difficult to open without waking up everybody. |* The apartment has an old-fashioned key chain. But you can leave them at the reception, so you don't have to carry them around.|* They offer a decent three course meal, but no dessert. You can ask for it but have to pay for it. If you feel for dessert, better go to the ice cream / cocktail bar at the other side of the square. It has more choices and is cheaper.|* The shower had some old sanitation kit that looked like it had mold on it, but it was...

We did a roadtrip thru northern Italy and stayed here for three nights. The hotel looks very nice and is on a good (quiet) location.
Our room was spacious and had a big balcony, although half of the view were our neighbours balconies it was still a nice place to sit on the afternoon. The rooms were clean and had a working AC.
We didn't make use of the spa facilities but they had a lot to offer here for the ultimate relaxation!
The pool was surrounded by a peaceful sitting area and the pool itself was clean.
For breakfast you had the option to sit in our outside, we spend all of our breakfasts outside because of the nice location. The breakfast itself had a lot to offer, as we say in Dutch "voor ieder wat wils" (something for everyone). You could also make a request for fresh fried eggs or pancakes and crepes that were made by a very kind lady every morning.
Al by all the service was very good!
Dinner was held in the restaurant next to the hotel which were in connected buildings. The restaurant had a very cosy feel and offered seating in and outside. Because we had breakfast and dinner included we were offered a 3 course dinner with 2 options per course. The food was very good and tasteful and the staff was very friendly aswel.
The hotel offered free parking on the terrain or in the garage below the hotel.
I would recommend this hotel if you're visiting the region or lake Garda!
And we would definitely be staying again if we were to go back to...
