A lovely hotel set up in the countryside. You have to walk about 1 KM to get to the train station and to the nearest town. So, if you just want to chill out in the countryside and be pampered by the owner of the place and her husband, then you found the right place sitting in the middle of green gardens, swimming pool and nature. They will cook a great meal for you and serve it with a smile. They have rooms with kitchenette, which actually is useless as there is no grocery store or supermarket near by unless you have a car and can drive to the nearest town and do shopping. Note that the rooms with kitchenette is cleaned up only once every 4 days. So you end up in a dirty room for 4 days.... there was no air condition. we were told it just broke but it was never fixed during our stay. Our room had NO Wi-Fi!!!! that was a bummer as we could not work and could not stream movies in English and the TV is in Italian only. The lady owner and her husband and daughter were very friendly and willing to help with advice and food. but not with the AC or the Wi-Fi

NO AIR CONDITIONING!!! We stayed in the beginning of June and it was so unbearable we were only able to stay one night. From other reviews, it’s seems like the air conditioning is commonly “broken.” We were told it was working, but there was no air coming out of the vents and no circulation.

Our group had two rooms, one had carpet and was very musty. One had no screen to block bugs when the door was open, and the other had a ripped screen that had to be propped open with a chair.

We had to open the doors or essentially suffocate. Opening the doors meant so many bugs at night. So we had to close the doors because there’s no way we are going to spend the night with mosquitoes, flying cockroaches, spiders (etc.)

The room with the broken net kept their door open all night and there was still no reprieve or circulation. He literally passed out from heat exhaustion and how dense the air felt.

The large beds were incredibly uncomfortable. I’ve slept on a 4 cm foam mat on tile and that was more comfortable.

The wifi is practically non-existent and the breakfast is nothing special.

Pros:

The staff was very kind and hospitable. The place is beautiful and I feel like it has so much potential. They almost certainly have to install new air conditioning. If it was operating, all the other things wouldn’t be as detrimental. The twin beds were comfortable. They should just use those mattresses for all the beds, put two together for the larger beds.

This review feels brutal, but it...

||Desayunamos hicimos el check out.

The goal of our travel was to visit Vence and some of others famous cities in the neighborood with our entire family (4 children).||||First of all the hotel is||- Clean||- Well maintained (nice deco) with an historical part and a modern part.||- Quiet||- Very nice people always smiling; ready to help and ready to help||- Nice italian restaurant inside - You will enjoy italian cooking :-)||- Extended Parking places||- Nice Park and swimming-pool (ideal for children)||- and the last but not the least Wi-Fi for teenagers ;-)||||If you want to visit Venice it's great because you got a 15 minutes walk ; if you want because there is a shuttle service from the hotel; till the train station and then it is a 25 minutes train trip and you arrive directly to Venezia Santa Lucia station. From there; this fantastic city is yours (hop on-hop off services; transports (vaporetto; gondoles and a lot of other services)||||It's better to get a car if you want to visit other cities like Padova (25 minutes by car); Verona (1 hour by car). A great region to discover from the Leon d'Oro (4 minutes to drive to be on the highway).||||Special thanks to Matilda & Francesca (they hopefully...
