Title: A Nightmare Unleashed: Shockingly Rude Staff at this 4-Star Hotel!

My recent stay at what was purportedly a 4-star hotel quickly transformed into a surreal nightmare, courtesy of the shockingly rude staff. I cannot stress enough how crucial it is to avoid this establishment at all costs. Allow me to recount the appalling experiences that left me utterly dismayed and disheartened.

Right from the moment of arrival, it was evident that the staff had little regard for basic courtesy or professionalism. The receptionist's demeanor was not just dismissive; it was outright hostile. Their blatant lack of respect and unpleasant attitude set the tone for the rest of my stay.

To make matters worse, the hotel staff crossed all bounds of decency and resorted to using profanity and hurling abusive language at us. It was beyond belief that individuals entrusted with guest relations could stoop so low as to verbally assault paying customers. The sheer audacity and disrespect displayed by the staff were utterly unacceptable and completely uncalled for.

As if the verbal abuse wasn't enough, the service provided by the staff was equally appalling. Requests for assistance or information were met with sighs, eye-rolls, and an overall dismissive attitude. It was as if we were an inconvenience to their day, and they made sure we felt that way throughout our entire stay.

Additionally, the overall quality of service was severely lacking. Simple requests went unattended, and the staff displayed a complete lack of initiative or willingness to address any concerns. Any attempts to voice dissatisfaction were met with even more rudeness and indifference. It was a disgraceful display of customer service or rather the lack thereof.

I implore anyone considering this hotel to seek alternative accommodations. The rude and abusive behavior displayed by the staff is a clear indication of the toxic work culture that permeates this establishment. No one deserves to be subjected to such treatment, especially when paying for a supposedly premium experience.

In conclusion, I wholeheartedly discourage anyone from staying at this hotel. The staff's shocking rudeness, including their use of offensive language, paints a vivid picture of an establishment that lacks even the most basic principles of hospitality. Firstly, the staff are great across the whole complex. Enza & Francesco in the restaurant, Vito, Deborha on reception to name a few. |The hotel is very clean with a nice vibe. Dome shaped rooms are comfortable, well maintained and cleaned daily. |The inclusive food offering at breakfast and dinner is good and there is plenty of variety. |Unusually you must queue for a hot beverage at breakfast, but it’s efficient and if I’m going to have my coffee made for me, I want it to be made by an Italian barista!|There is a good mix of nationalities both younger and older. It’s also a good base for exploring Puglia. |What you need to know…correct at time of typing…|You must wear a bathing cap, free from reception, in both the freshwater and seawater pool. |The seawater pool is sometimes used for activities and there is always music playing, so if you don’t like noise, use the other pool. |You can still use the pool when the activities are taking place as it’s huge. |You will be given cards to exchange for beach towels when you visit the pools. |If you want something, for example a toastie at 3.30pm, just ask. |Housekeeping could be completed at any time during the day. It’s a big complex! |Your room key is used as your ‘money’ for any sundries like drinks, paying the total at the end of your stay - add a credit card at check in. |There is a tourist tax and hotel services charge which you pay at the beginning of your stay. Ours was 20 something Euros per day, which adds a bit to your bill, so beware. |The rooms are not soundproof but they are insulated enough. Take ear plugs if you’re concerned. |They have regular functions around the seawater pool. They end around midnight, so once again, if you are an early/light sleeper, take ear plugs. |We took a laidback attitude towards all of this, after all, we were on holiday. By doing this you’ll enjoy the experience more. |Suggested adjustments…|Absorb the service charge into the cost of the holiday. It’s a bit of a shock for guests to have to pay more on arrival. Note this is separate to the tourist tax.|Drop the swim hat rule. Half the guests weren’t wearing them anyway! |More choice of desserts in the evening would be nice. |Overall though, we had a nice holiday and I would recommend staying...

3 of us have just returned from a last minute, all-inclusive break for a week there.

The rooms were basic, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and polite with the exception of the beach/pool attendants who we called ‘prison guards’. They ‘told you off’ if you moved an umbrella a few inches and rudely made sure you were not sitting on the front 2 rows of the sunbeds if you weren’t in a ‘superior room’ in spite of the beach being virtually empty at 5pm. You are only allocated one beach towel all week – no more, to sit/sweat on and dry yourself with. You could exchange it at an addition fee but this is laughable as they changed all the bath towels daily, used or unused! The hand towels were actually moisture repellent.

It certainly wasn’t a peaceful break. The music and man on the microphone was loud and invasive, you are unable to get away from it even on the beach or in our rooms. It goes on all day and night until midnight with only a short break for meals and a siesta. It is more like a holiday camp.

The food was fabulous given that it was all inclusive and buffet style and wine provided with the meals was very palatable albeit the red wine was ice cold every time. The soft inclusive drinks package was very odd. You were given a tiny glass of a soft drink such a coke – so you would have to ask them to refill it several times - they wouldn’t allow you the larger plastic cup that they served the free beer in. The beach bar served the inclusive beer but this shut at approximately 7pm and you had to pay for beer in the bar open later. The meal in the restaurant upstairs was also included in the price but the still water and wine charges were an unwelcome surprise. They were overstretched and understaffed up there, the main restaurant was so much better.

The sea was wonderfully warm but on several days we didn’t swim as it was full of jelly fish.

A nice place in a nice setting but wouldn’t have gone if we had known about the noise, cheesy holiday camp environment, jelly fish and the stupid levels of pettiness - that...

HOSPITALITA ESTRAORDINARIA, vista, camere dei suites!! I'd never been treated like this level of excellency especially by the hotel staff in Italy! At this time was for my parents invited to Italy for 45 years marriage anniversary, their services were way more beyond expectations even if as a gold member of Expedia! I'm very sensitive with people behavior thus good staff services(more of it tends to be a personality that whoever the staff presents to clients in the end) are very important. By the lead of Mariangela(mi dispiace se c’è doppio "a"), assistant director we had the flawless services at this beautiful resort…. Rooms were excellent way more enough covered a little con(night noises at 601), and specially the last night they cleaned the room AT NIGHT when we went to the apuglian buffet dinner at the facility✨Even at the little high end facilities don’t wanna do this kind of service so very special and meet well at our needs👏not just last night but the daily cleanings were flawless and we had very comfortable staying for entire 3nights. At the breakfast they prepared “auguri” cake and from her blessings for parents with helping family photos, with reserved outside spacious seats beside a big tree😌Even if it’s raining they helped us at our needs of seating near the buffet so my 74-75 years olds were reachable to their wants for the breakfast. also my vegan latte d’avena e insalata😋 Bellavista is everywhere from 602 suite, we can see/hear the ocean waves without need of walking mornings/nights, walkable nature gem lungomare, nearby “Torre Cintola” 💖 As my hubby said "emozionale", sea emotions are complete package for celebrating someone(s) who's important for you! Definitely vale la pena, worth spending it! *Some old reviews I saw it's written bearly english speakers but I found at this time in May 2025 there are at least english/french speakers at the reception and kitchen. I prefer Italiano when we're in Italy and they were very flexible😇

Terrible Experience – Would Give Zero Stars If Possible I stayed at Torre Cintola Greenblu Sea Emotions in Monopoli (Puglia region), and I must say this has been one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Cleanliness: The level of cleanliness is unacceptable. Towels were changed, but even the "fresh" ones had brown stains on them. I had to carefully pick the least dirty ones — not something you’d expect from a hotel of this supposed standard. The room was superficially made up but not truly cleaned. Dust and grime were clearly visible. Food: The food was poor in both variety and quality. After just one dinner, I ended up with a foodborne illness that kept me on medication for days. This alone is reason enough to avoid this hotel. Hospitality and Staff Behavior: Rules seem to apply differently based on your nationality. If you're Italian, you’re treated well. If you’re a foreign guest, you're treated like you're stupid or inferior. Hospitality was non-existent unless you’re "one of them." Special mention to Michael, the lifeguard at the pool — if he doesn’t like you, he will make your life miserable. He gossips about guests and creates a hostile environment. To sum up: Cleanliness – No Hospitality – No Food – No Would I recommend this hotel? Absolutely not. If I could give zero stars, I would. Late edit: Electricity is also a problem... sometimes it is absent and you stay in front of the room. Small animals in the room because the cleaning lady how late the door open, maybe... And problems with the water related to electricity and also not related to electricity, pressure was low and was very cold or very hot . It is not something acceptable for a 4-star hotel!

Struttura: 8+ Come da titolo la struttura è molto bella, attrae in tutti i suoi spazi e soprattutto permettono liberamente di potersi rilassare in ogni angolo disponibile. Molto curato il verde e tutti gli spazi esterni. Le piscine (una salata e una dolce) sono molto comode e permettono di far giocare in tutta tranquillità i bambini in assenza di pericoli. Personale del Bar sempre disponibile e gentilissimo, come anche gli assistenti per la balneazione. Ottimo e ben organizzato il servizio dei teli mare! Check-In: 7 L'accoglienza al check in è molto professionale; i ragazzi raccolgono tutte le richieste cercando di trovare sempre una giusta e pronta soluzione per ogni esigenza. Cucina: 10+ BRAVISSIMA e simpaticissima la responsabile di sala, che con meticolosa precisione e COSTANTE attenzione, si occupa del benessere di tutti i commensali. Il cibo è molto curato, di qualità e BUONISSIMO. Bellissimo anche le diverse serate a tema culinario, dove si possono assaggiare ogni giorno specialità diverse e tutte buonissime di questa splendida regione: la Puglia. Grazie all'intervento del gentilissimo ANTONIO del check-in, il tutto si è risolto con un'attesa accettabile e del tutto normale...ma penso che non ci sia sempre il buon Antonio a metterci una pezza sopra. La pulizia, dal mio personale giudizio: ASSENTE (guardare foto), si rasenta le norme basi igienico-sanitarie. Non si può NON fare la classica (e diamo per buona , anche veloce) pulita e lavata del pavimento giornaliero. Il servizio PULIZIA; della camera consisteva nel sistemare (in maniera MOLTO blanda) i letti e appoggiare il classico set di asciugamani nuovo. - Nessuna pulita e aspirata a terra - Nessuna lavata di pavimento - Polvere dappertutto, anche evidente - Bagno come da PRIMO giorno (sempre se il primo giorno era stato pulito) e se non bastasse la totale MALCURANZA di effettuare anche quel poco di servizio che forzatamente è stato fatto. Per TRE (3) volte ho ricevuto un KIT asciugamani in meno...se ci sono 4 letti, siamo 4 persone...perché me ne vengono lasciate 3? Per le prime due volte, sono stato fortunato ad incontrare la signora fuori che, anche in maniera molto infastidita mi dava il set mancante, la terza invece ci siamo dovuti adattare...INACCETTABILE!!! Ma se questo non fosse abbastanza, un altra chicca l'abbiamo avuta con il banale sapone per le mani. Terminato dopo neanche 1 giorno (quindi non era stato neanche controllato e riempito per il check della stanza iniziale) è stato chiesto per ben TRE volte se potesse essere riempito e per ben TRE volte NULLA, NIENTE, ZERO...alla fine SECCATO ne ho comprato uno al bazar della struttura...VERGOGNOSO!!! Ma la cosa più FASTIDIOSA e INSOPPORTABILE, è quella di non poter accedere alla camere alle ore 15:30 (tre e mezza del pomeriggio) perché ancora non era stato fatta il giro giornaliero? Ma scherziamo? La stanza libera dalle 08:00 di mattina e dopo OTTO ore e MEZZA ancora non era stato fatto nulla? A chiedere spiegazioni alla signora addetta alla nostra camera, la risposta è stata semplice (è sempre con MOLTA seccatura): NON E' COLPA MIA, IO HO LE MIE PRIORITA'!!! Beh penso che abbia avuto OTTO ore per evadere le sue priorità la Signora ma forse è troppo presa da altre DISTRAZIONI e VEZZI, e non può di certo pensare a fare bene il compito per cui è pagata.

Terminato dopo neanche 1 giorno (quindi non era stato neanche controllato e riempito per il check della stanza iniziale) è stato chiesto per ben TRE volte se potesse essere riempito e per ben TRE volte NULLA, NIENTE, ZERO...alla fine SECCATO ne ho comprato uno al bazar della struttura...VERGOGNOSO!!! Ma la cosa più FASTIDIOSA e INSOPPORTABILE, è quella di non poter accedere alla camere alle ore 15:30 (tre e mezza del pomeriggio) perché ancora non era stato fatta il giro giornaliero? Ma scherziamo? La stanza libera dalle 08:00 di mattina e dopo OTTO ore e MEZZA ancora non era stato fatto nulla? A chiedere spiegazioni alla signora addetta alla nostra camera, la risposta è stata semplice (è sempre con MOLTA seccatura): NON E' COLPA MIA, IO HO LE MIE PRIORITA'!!! Beh penso che abbia avuto OTTO ore per evadere le sue priorità la Signora ma forse è troppo presa da altre DISTRAZIONI e VEZZI, e non può di certo pensare a fare bene il compito per cui è pagata.
