Hotel Olimpia — Hotel in Nuovo Circondario Imolese

Checked in at night, minimal AC in the lobby and none in the room hallways. Sweltering hot. They gave me a third-floor room (room number 321). AC in room was broken, and the heat and humidity from earlier in the day made the room unbearable. Saw ants crawling all over the desk in the room, with a trail of ants leading into the room fridge. Opened the fridge and found a BUNCH of ants (see photo). Room looks like no one had used it (nor kept it clean) for a long, long time. Went to front desk to ask for another one. They said they were out of rooms and there's nothing they could do since it was "too late", being 11 PM. Didn't apologize, didn't even bother to come up with me to the room to verify my concerns, and offered absolutely ZERO solutions for the broken AC and bugs.

I demanded that they find another room in another hotel. They claimed all nearby hotels were "closed for the night" without even checking. I whipped out my phone and found Hotel Molino Rosso. Made them give Molino a call. They were open and had empty rooms. After much arguing and haggling, we finally got Hotel Olympia to pay the costs for changing my room reservation to go with Molino and some of the taxi fee to take us to the other hotel. That little bit of compromise on their part was the only thing saving them from a zero-star rating.

I was on vacation and shouldn't ever have had to deal with such horrible customer service, lack of care and respect, and neglect for cleanliness. Google says this is a 4-star hotel. This is NOTHING like a 4-star hotel!!! An old, dated photo shows this being a "Best Western"-owned chain. It was NOT when I stayed there on July 2015. Avoid this place...

Very comfortable set to reach the centre of Imola or the race track, some parking is also available on site. WiFi was very intermittent in the room, most of the time, not working. Shower-head was full of limestone which blocked and rendered it useless to shower with. The room was hot and the A/C just made noise and did not pump out any air at all, opened the window hoping the mosquitoes wouldn't notice....... Breakfast was on Italian average and varied enough with some very good cakes on offer, but tables were set up as group events. Television was only the Italian Digital with no satellite...

Были в этом отеле 6 дней с 3 по 8 января. Очень понравилось!!!))||Отель чистый и уютный. Персонал дружелюбный (как на ресепшене, так и в баре), все очень приветливы, готовы прийти на помощь. Номер, который нам достался, был потрясающим (Emerald): состоял он из 2х комнат (зал, переходящий в спальню), огромный (просторный) светлый, с большим балконом (хотя в январе он особой роли не играет), большой ванной комнатой (душ тоже просторный), зеркало большое, раковина тоже, новый и мощный фен. В номере ковры, 2 плазмы, огромная и мягкая кровать, кожаные диван и кресла... Все абсолютно новое, чистое и аккуратное. Скажу честно, готова была остаться там жить!!!)) ||Номер убирали каждый день, все ванные принадлежности тоже ежедневно пополняли (даже чересчур).||К сожалению, во время новогодних праздников не работал ресторан, поэтому на данную тему сказать ничего не могу. Но в баре очень вкусные печенья и кофе!)||Так же хотела бы отметить, что прямо за отелем есть ресторанчик "Pit Stop", в котором мы разок поужинали. Цены там как и везде, пицца тоже как всегда вкуснейшая.||Цены на проживание в отеле очень гуманные! За эти 5 ночей мы отдали чуть меньше 200 евро!||Минус этого отеля в том, что он находится в небольшом провинциальном городке, где нечего смотреть (хотя в Италии, по-моему, каждое здание особенное и смотреть всегда есть куда и на что). И все же, добираться до какого либо крупного города (к примеру, до Флоренции), придется долго. Конечно, всегда есть поезда, и поезда весьма удобные (никогда не сравнятся с нашими электричками). Но нам было значительно проще, т.к. была машина. И все-таки этот минус не такой уж и минус, если вам важны тишина и спокойствие. Народу в городке мало, машин тоже. Нет этого жуткого кипиша, как в более крупных городах.||Так что я осталась ОЧЕНЬ довольна данным отелем!...
