We’ve stayed at one of the apartments for a week during our trip to Italy. We’ve booked our stay one day in advance, pool was for us a dealbreaker ;). What a surprise it was when we’ve arrived at the village! This is one of the most charming and authentic places we’ve seen in Tuscany so different from crowded touristic sites. It’s like time has topped in that village a century ago!|Our apartment (lampo 2) had an amazing view over the valley, I would strongly recommend this one to anyone who like to dine outside. |People in the village are really friendly and we also enjoyed interactions with other guests. |Parking can be a challenge especially during the weekend. You might need to park at the main road and hike back to the village, that can be an issue for people with really young children or with weak knees. In Raggiolo you can’t avoid walking, hiking and climbing ;)||We will definitely return to this place and we’ll recommend it Borgo Dei Corsi to our friends and family!|Location of the pool was a bit of a surprise pool is about 1km from the village (it’s mentioned on Booking.com I just missed it...), you need to pack your stuff and drove there if you’re planning to spent there a day. It’s...
Read moreWe loved our stay! A huge part of that was Gina in reception and Antonio in the restaurant. It felt like we were leaving home when we left. Gina was absolutely fantastic in lining up excursions and answering any questions we had! Antonio was so kind to our 1 and 3 year old! We had Lampo 1 and Lampo 2 for our stay. The views were absolutely beautiful!
Things to know to make the most of your stay: Make sure you have a car! The pool is a bit of a hike from where you stay, but getting there by car isn't a problem. Just know you'll have to plan your trips if traveling with children. Having a car makes it way easier to get into any nearby towns. There is a bus that comes to town, which might be helpful if you just want to get to Bibbiena occasionally, but isn't ideal if you want to leave often. Be prepared to walk a lot, and on some steep streets. There is parking, but not near the apartment. -There wasn't AC as of our stay (early September), but most of the time it wasn't an issue. We kept the windows open and it usually felt great!
I would highly reccomend staying here! It is...
Read moreIt was a wonderful stay in Il Borgo Dei Corsi. We spent here almost 2 weeks and it was beyond our expectations. All were as described and even better.|The holiday house was clean and well equipped. There is a washing mashine disposable for guests. |The pool is very nice (short drive and a 10 minutes walk - seems shorter than on the map).|The restaurant is excellent. Not that pricey for this kind of a fancy cuisine. |The concierge was very helpful.|The place is located in the middle of Tuscany. Near Bibbiena, where you can do your shopping. Two hours drive and you are at the sea side. Not to mention Ravenna, San Marino. Florence is about 1h30. Arezzo - 30 minutes. And the best thing about Raggiolo is that the village is so calm, so not disturbed, so not crowded with tourists that sometimes I felt like we were here alone. |I guess it was not the last summer...
