The Queen Hotel — Hotel in Pastorano

I am currently staying here, while working locally. During the last 3 months here, I have stayed over 80 days so far. The staff here are very friendly, courteous and want to give you a good experience. The hotel is always clean, as are the rooms, which I would say are a standard size for the level of hotel. The only meal offered is a simple continental breakfast. However, there are countless restaurants within a short drive serving mainly fish - what else would you eat in this area, the fish is so good! and of course the normal great Italian fare. There is a pool also. The hotel tends to be busy during the week with mainly business people, weekends tend to be a bit quieter. You need a car to stay at this hotel as there is nothing you can walk to around it.||||The location of the hotel is only 30-40 minutes from Naples airport. It is a handy location for Caserta (good weekend night out, Palace & gardens), Capua (2nd largest colosseum outside Rome), Monte Cassino (WW2 battle), Vesuvius & Pompei. The Sorrento coast is only 1 hr drive away. There is a direct rail link into Rome from Caserta, where you can reach Rome in an hour or so. Flights from the UK tend to be cheaper coming into Naples rather than Rome, so if you are a history buff this hotel would make...

Me, my wife and two lads stayed at this lovely hotel for five nights following on from a stay on the Amalfi coast. We wanted somewhere closer to Rome than Naples yet intended to visit Pompeii and Vesuvius which we did (a hire car is a must for this hotel). It is modern and clean with friendly staff and the quad room 116a is in two halves with a lockable door. Wifi is patchy in this room though. Lots of tv channels but a shame not one in English. Breakfast is good for continental style. Disappointing that although a restaurant is listed it is for weddings only. However there are good local restaurants with a couple of km.|The pool needed a little cleaning due to insects but we were virtually the only ones in the hotel so it was almost a private pool for us. Watch out for mosquitos though. Repellent...

The hotel is very nice and very clean, the pool was amazing and kept clean, the bedrooms was cleaned everyday and the beds was comfy to sleep in, they was also a good size, the staff was very kind and helped us with what we needed, they tried their best to make conversation and to entertain us.. in the lounge downstairs they played English music so it catered for people other than Italian.. the hotel grounds was very nice and well layed out, I would recommend you have transport arranged or you have a car if you want to get to places as it’s abit far from shops and also maybe offer something more than breakfast!
