Posta Fibreno is a beautiful jewel tucked away in the Comino Valley. What sets it apart from the other towns in the area is the large, crystal clear Lago di Posta Fibreno. The lake is the centerpiece of a nature reserve that is home to a variety of flora and fauna - some unique to the area. Ninfa del Lago is located across the street from the lake. The room I stayed in was called Terrazza del Re, and it boasts a balcony that provides a great view of the lake. I spent many nights looking at the stars and the reflection of the moon on the lake and many mornings listening to the birds sing and watching the fog float across the surface of the water. The bed was very comfortable and the room had air conditioning and a heater. The shower had plenty of hot water and everything was very clean. Most of what there is to do in Posta Fibreno can be found along the lake. There is a "bar" across the street where you can get an espresso and chat with the locals and the Smile Pub less than 5 minutes away by foot. There are lots of restaurants to choose from like Ristorante Il Vicolaccio and Trattoria Pizzeria Lecce where I had delicious meals. There are plenty of other restaurants that I unfortunately didn't have the opportunity to try, but also looked good. Franco and Rafaella were extremely generous with their hospitality and time and went out of their way to make me feel welcome. They were very attentive to me and my comfort and made sure that I was taken care of. I was in Posta Fibreno for 5 days, and I wish I could've stayed longer. I dream of going back, and when I do, the Terrazza del Re will have my name written all over it! I've traveled to many different places and stayed the night in many different rooms in my lifetime, but Ninfa del Lago is something special and unique and the perfect setting for a romantic getaway or a solo retreat where you can unwind and enjoy the...

We arrived from Rome and perhaps we are influenced from the fact that it was the first weekend after some long months in which we could not escape from the stress of the town. Nevertheless there is an unforgettable beauty in the place, which is still as calm as it was when I went there with my parents during my childhood. Our room was nice and comfortable, with likable services, and above all it was in a wonderful position, the lake being just outside our door, on the other side of a peaceful little street. Sono stato ospite per due notti al B&B Ninfa del lago a Posta Fibreno.||Il paese è un posto quasi fiabesco e il B&B si trova esattamente di fronte al lago, dove abbiamo potuto avvalerci la mattina della colazione nel giardino del bar frontestante con affaccio sul lago (vedi foto il allegato) e con la vista di un paesaggio incredibile! La gestione familiare di Franco Angelo e di sua moglie e la professionalità e accoglienza che si riceve già all'arrivo è straordinaria: trattamento 5 stelle con la l'ospitalità e i consigli e il tono "familiare" dell'amico di sempre.||Spero di ritornarci presto, Posta Fibreno è molto vicina a paesi interessanti - per storia, natura e anche gastronomia - e Franco, studioso e appassionato di storia e territorio, ci ha raccontato che durante il periodo natalizio si può godere di un particolarissimo presepe vivente all'interno del paese.
