Lago Chiaro Chalet — Restaurant in Posta Fibreno

The second star is just because the sorrounding is wonderful. The owner here is the tipical rude and poor minded people that should be running a boxing club rather than beeing in the service industry. She is rude and bearly greets you....and everyone knows this! One of the typical closed minded locals. The service is slow and I could count 1 of the waiters beeing kind....the rest seems like you are doing them a favour going or thing they run the only activity worth to go. Like wise another local activity about 250 mt away from here not to visit. Them is copy paste. Unless the lady owner does not leave, i would poorly reccomend the place and the sorrounding can be enjoyed just beside. Furniture of the place is all plastic, once there no greetings and tables are always dirty. If you attempt to ask to be cleaned you have bad looks from the big lady owner with whom you risk discussions. The place could be run by better administration and the one attempt was brought to failure....maybe by locals or same owners today. Una esperienza speciale, sicuramente!

Il posto ha un parcheggio riservato, la sala interna è ben curata e luminosa, però se è bel tempo o non fa troppo freddo, mangiare ai tavoli di fuori è da fare assolutamente, a pochi passi dalla riva del lago!

Come antipasti abbiamo preso un rustico con prodotti locali che erano veramente squisiti, adatto sicuramente per due persone quei €12 li ha valsi tutti, le polpettine di trota SONO ASSOLUTAMENTE DA ASSAGGIARE accompagnate da una maionese aromatizzata allo zafferano e una salsa yogurt aglio e prezzemolo, il sapore di lago ti esplode in bocca, di sicuro non ci si mangia, questa però è una emozione, non una portata! A seguire fritto misto, purtroppo non fotografato in tempo, oltre al gusto personale, posso dire che il pesce era fresca e obbiettivamente che la frittura era leggera, asciutta e croccante, PERFETTA!

Per i primi abbiamo preso dei ravioli con ripieno Cacio e pepe, sopra crema di carciofi e guanciale, indimenticabili, gli spaghetti alla trota avevano un sapore delicato probabilmente cotti nel fumetto e il crunch del pancroccante ci sta da dio, l'impiattamento è da ristorante di lusso, bellissimo piatto, in fine i tonnarelli al sugo di gamberi che erano anch'essi eccezionali, cotti insieme alla bisque esaltano al massimo il sapore delicato del gambero di lago! Spettacolari!

La tagliata era veramente triste, c'è da dirlo, cotta troppo, niente di speciale purtroppo. Anche sui dolci ci sarebbe da ridire, poca scelta e non troppo convincenti.

In complessivo abbiamo mangiato benissimo, prezzi medi e qualità, soprattutto sul pesce,...

I have seen some reviews that say the service is rude, but it's not its just efficient and attentive.
