Hotel Salei — Hotel in Prali

From the moment Chiara came running to the hotel from her newly-opened restaurant across the square, to greet us and show us to our room, we knew we were being hosted by lovely and exceptional people. Chiara and her partner have just refurbished the hotel and simultaneously opened a new restaurant. Both are beautifully appointed and provided us with a lovely evening meal, a splendid breakfast, and a very fine room. Grundsätzlich könnte es ein schöner Aufenthalt im Hotel Salei direkt am Hauptplatz des kleinen, malerisch in einem Talschluss gelegenen Skistädtchen Ghigo di Prali. Ich war dort auf der GTA mit einem Freund unterwegs und erlebte nicht nur einen sehr schroffen und undfreundlichen Empfang nach 5 Stunden Wanderung, sondern auch eine sehr unfaire Behandlung. Ich hatte bei Booking.com ein Dreibettzimmer mit meinem Freund gebucht, um etwas mehr Platz zu haben. Das Hotel war bereits im Februar 25 unstornierbar gebucht und bezahlt! Die Besitzerin wollte mir ein Zweibettzimmer dafür geben und bestand darauf, dass mein gebuchtes Zimmer einen Aufpreis von 45 € hatte! Als ich das nach längerer Diskussion nicht akzeptieren wollte, nahm sie mein Handy und meinen Rucksack, wollte mich hinaus werfen und die Polizei rufen. Nach längerer Diskussion meines Wanderfreundes akzeptierte sie es doch endlich. Ich reise sehr viel und auch durch Italien. So etwas hatte ich noch nie erlebt! Dazu kommt, dass das Hotel Salei in dieser Nacht praktisch fast leer war. So ein Verhalten ist sehr aggressiv und ich wollte nur auf Google darauf hinweisen, damit andere darüber...

Ho soggiornato nell'hotel nell'estate del 2023. La struttura, completamente ristrutturata, unisce elementi di pregio storico con tutti i confort moderni. Nota di merito per i letti presenti che assicurano un riposo fantastico. Sono benvenuti anche gli animali. La colazione è servita in parte espressa ed in parte a buffet con materie prime di qualità superiore (formaggi, confetture e salumi del luogo). Il punto forte, però, sono i proprietari che già dal benvenuto ti accolgono in maniera calorosa facendoti sentire parte della famiglia Salei. Grandissima cortesia e disponibilità ad accordarci gentilezze e a spiegarci le innumerevoli attrazioni ed attività del luogo. Nonostante durante la nostra vacanza fosse in corso una gara podistica abbiamo facilmente trovato parcheggio ed in aggiunta gratuito. Nell'adiacente piazza ci sono colonnine per macchine elettriche.
