We arrived after a hike in rain and hail to a rainbow which ended smack dab on the roof of this cool rustic rifugio. Quite an appropriate introduction, this hutte is gold! The interiors have been lovingly renovated recently, and everything smells like fresh pine. Martin the second (or third?) generation proprietor sported lederhosen when he welcomed us with the offer of a sorely needed beer. Good times! Pictures of his father and wood carvings of goats decorated the charming bar/gathering room. Only small thing to be aware of is that showers require purchasing tokens. Dinners are huge and pretty good, the tagliatelle with ragu and cranberries is absolutely delicious!. My fiance has celiac and the staff was very aware about gluten-intolerance and knew about gluten free dishes on the menu. They also double checked for every dish we ordered.
