I'm not sure what happened to this place since last season and what gastronomic idea is behind it now, but I can say that my guest experience this year was quite confusing. It's no longer a "mountain hut", because the interior of the restaurant has been redesigned to match the look of a higher-class restaurant, but without an adequate gastronomic offer. The food offering is now reduced to a small number of fancy-named main courses, so no more goulash soup, dumplings or Wiener schnitzel. Unfortunately, the waitresses have no desire at all. The guest does not seem to be welcome here. We are really patient. After a long wait, we then ordered something inside at the counter and were still arrogantly asked why we come in to order.... because outside probably no one wanted to serve, right?! 😉 Actually, we wanted to eat there, but have left it. Afterwards we would have still disturbed the cook.

Artichokes, sponata pasta, crusty outside and very soft inside bread, home made butter.. mmm, just perfect. And the waiter Matteo was just fantastic....
