We spent three unforgettable nights at Alpin Panorama Hotel Hubertus, and it is no exaggeration to say that words or even photographs cannot do the view justice. The landscape unfurls in such majestic silence that it feels almost sacred. From dawn’s golden breath to the violet hush of twilight, the mountains seem to suspend time itself.
A View Beyond Description
The panorama surrounding the hotel is not merely scenic; it is transcendent. The peaks rise like cathedral spires, the valleys breathe with morning mist, and each hour paints the sky anew. To gaze upon it is to witness the language of nature spoken fluently in light and shadow.
The Sky Pool A Masterpiece in Mid Air
The legendary Sky Pool is a marvel of design and sensation, a glass fronted infinity pool that appears to hover in the heavens. Swimming there, one feels both weightless and eternal, drifting between sky and mountain in an exquisite blur of reflection. It is said that across the vast Alpine region there are only about eight to ten comparable sky pools, a reminder of just how exceptional this experience truly is.
Heaven and Hell The Spa of Contrasts
Then there is the Heaven and Hell wellness area, an architectural poem in contrasts. Suspended between worlds, it invites guests to journey through warmth and chill, elevation and descent, three jacuzzis at 36 °C mirrored against saunas and a cold rain shower below. Our private jacuzzi experience was, in every sense, unforgettable. The sequence, shower, sauna, jacuzzi, framed by that impossible mountain view, is unlike anything we have ever encountered. It is both romantic and elemental, an intimate immersion in the poetry of contrast.
Divine Dining and Graceful Hospitality
The cuisine at Hubertus is nothing short of divine: eclectic, imaginative, and elegantly executed. Each plate felt like an artist’s composition, alpine ingredients transformed through creativity and care. The management and staff deserve special praise: attentive yet unpretentious, professional yet warm. The owners themselves radiate a genuine hospitality that makes one feel both welcomed and valued.
For Couples Seeking the Extraordinary
For couples, this is a sanctuary of romance. The atmosphere is serene, the design exquisite, and the sense of privacy profound. It is the perfect retreat for a short getaway, luxurious without ostentation, intimate without confinement, memorable beyond measure.
Our Lasting Impression
We left Hubertus with a quiet promise to return. The memories linger, the mirror of the sky in the pool’s water, the breath of cold air on warm skin, the serenity of mountains embracing the horizon. This is more than a hotel; it is an experience of beauty distilled to its purest form. Highly...
Read moreWe've had the loveliest stay at the Alpin Panorama Hotel Hubertus - surely the best to choose when visiting Dolomites. Its perfect location couldn't be greater for exploring - whether in summer (Lago di Braies lake, hiking in Tre Cime...) or winter (skiing in Kronplatz). The hotel itself is so beautifully decorated. It has its own private parking - super useful as you'll probably want to be renting or coming with your own car to explore the surrounding area. Rooms are spotless and spacious - we've had our own balcony overviewing the mountains and valley! The bed is really comfortable and everything is so clean. Favourite was the bathtub also with panoramic view - JUST WOW. They clean the room daily and cleaning ladies give the chocolates every day. You also get the wellness basket with bathrobe and slippers upon arrival. The temperature in rooms can be regulated. The BIG PLEASANT SURPRISE is the heated sky infinity pool 20 meters above grounds with mountain panorama. It has a glass inserted in the floor and it was our favourite part of the hotel with its garden and many saunas overlooking the mountain vistas again. Even more beautiful during sunrise when the steam is coming out - just a perfect scenery for an unforgettable holiday photo. There's 6 pools in total, plus saunas, plus fitness, plus gymnasium etc etc. There's tea, juices, dried fruits available in sauna are too - all these add up for an unforgettable stay! The booking usually comes as 3/4 wellness board. Buffet breakfast is yummy, organic, there's just so much options, also for vegetarians. + they bring printed newseletters each morning. Lunch buffet was also great and then dinner is the next level - comes as 6-course gourmet menu and you want to come hungry! They even have their own wine cellar. The staff is so attentive and kind. You get complimentary prosecco on arrival which is a nice touch, too. Oh, and fireplaces - loved them!! In winter super handy is also their heated ski storage room to place your skiing equipment. Overall, it's an UNFORGETTABLE STAY - DEFINITELY FAVOURITE (so good we came for the second time)! Until next time, Hubertus!
PS.: If you're booking, go directly through them - they are usually booked out, but if you ask directly they might find some availabilities upon requests! SO...
