Gassl — Restaurant in Pustertal - Val Pusteria

I’m deeply disappointed with the way we were treated at Gassl recently. After a day of skiing, our group—two families with children—stopped by the outdoor bar on the lower level for an après-ski. We were enjoying ourselves, having a few rounds of drinks, and listening to the music. The atmosphere was great until an unfortunate incident ruined our experience. Out of nowhere, a waitress approached my 83-year-old father and escorted him upstairs to a larger party that was taking place in the upper floor. Confused, my brother and I followed them, not knowing what was happening. Once upstairs, the waitress practically pushed us into the room where the party was being held. It was clear that this was an attempt to get us to spend even more money. What upset us most was the fact that she deliberately chose my elderly father—likely seeing him as the easiest target—despite the presence of the rest of our group, including children. Her actions were highly inappropriate and manipulative. When I confronted her and told her this behavior was unacceptable, I made it clear that we did not appreciate being treated this way. It’s a shame because we were otherwise enjoying ourselves, but this incident left a very bad impression. Such tactics are not only unethical but also disrespectful. I hope the management addresses this issue to ensure that other guests aren’t treated...

In einem so schlechten Restaurant war ich noch nie zuvor! Der Service konnte keine Weinempfehlung aussprechen. Garstig schmiss uns das Personal die Getränke über den Tisch. Nachdem wir Getränke und Vorspeisen bestellt hatten, sagte uns der Kellner, dass die Küche jetzt zu gemacht hat. Warum sagt man uns das nicht bevor wir die Getränke und Vorspeisen bestellen? Unverschämt! Daraufhin kam die Caprese als Vorspeise auf den Tisch. Circa einen halben mm geschnittene Tomaten erwartete mich zwischen Unkraut und Büffelmozarella. Die wohl liebloseste und schlecht schmeckenste Caprese die ich je gegessen habe und das für über 10Euro. Unverschämtheit!

Wer hier im Urlaub ist und die Möglichkeit hat in ein anderes Restaurant zu gehen, der sollte unbedingt in ein anderes gehen. Nichtmal einen cent würde ich...
