Let's start with the good things: Breakfast was great, fresh and rich. The landlady was very nice when we met her before leaving.||The scenery from the garden is majestic.||The main problem was the room itself. It was tiny and so was the bathroom which was so tiny there was not enough room for the sink, so the sink was in the main room, making it impossible for one to brush his teeth while the other is asleep. The shower was very small, not a place to put the soap but outside of it. It was so small that it got easily flooded.||The TV screen was just above the head of one of the beds. not only making its impossible to watch but also a danger for the head when stretching up.||Only two electric sockets: one above the middle of the bed (unuseful while sleeping) and the other above the sink. Hard to recharge phones laptop etc during the night.||The front rooms are very close to the main road and therefore a bit noisy.||When we came there was no one in the reception, they gave us the code to the building electric door and left us the keys, there was no one to talk to or ask questions (like where we can find dinner around) until the morning.||There was a free WIFI but it was a bit slow and sometimes got stuck.||It is not an expansive hotel. yet the dwellings where below the level for that price when comparing to other places we've been...
Read moreWe had made a reservation for one night in July 2023 for a family room. We arrived at the hotel at around 4.30 pm and a hand-written note had been posted on the entrance door of the hotel requesting guests to call a phone number to announce their arrival and to check in. Over an hour and a half we repeatedly called that number (foreign number for us, by the way), we sent an SMS and wrote an email. After over 13 phone calls, for which the phone service said the dialed number was unreachable, the owner finally responded, arrived at the hotel and said she had received no phone calls from us earlier! The room was clearly a double room forced into a family room. One of the beds had the mattress larger than the bed frame, which was a basic metal frame, so the bed kind of folded in the middle. Check the pictures. The room furniture and bathroom really needs updating. The shower head was broken. The terrace was shared with two neighboring rooms. On the positive side, the hotel has a nice garden with games for kids. Breakfast was well served. Definitely not good...
Read moreAt the entrance to the hotel, you first ask yourself where the reception is. The door is on the right, closed and unmarked. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. There are two doors on each floor, left and right of the staircase. Each of these doors leads to a few rooms. The room we stayed in was modern, with a little worn out equipment. The mattress was a bit worn out and the bathroom sink was damaged. The walls are thin and the noise from the adjacent rooms is disturbing. It was especially unpleasant, as we had guests on the left with children shouting and crying in the middle of the night, and on the right a very loud Italian couple. In addition, the front door leading to the rooms is annoying, because they make a lot of noise when people come and go. Breakfast was ok, with great variety of croissants and pastries, spreads, salami and cheese. A diverse set of Muesli, but I would expect at least one sugar free yogurt. If you have a good, tight sleep, than you will find the hotel good, otherwise hope, there are not loud guest...
