Moserhof Agriturismo Refugium — Hotel in Pustertal - Val Pusteria

We booked 2 nights at a zimmer with porch at this place in September, planning to stay in, relax and rest. It was only on arrival that we had to discover by ourselves that heavy construction is done that includes laying foundations, handling concrete and operating a crane. If that wasn't enough, our room was in the same room as the construction, so only us had this problem. We arrived in the afternoon and needed to rest - we couldn't because of construction noises that ended in 6pm, while still tired we were woken up at 7am by the crane operation, and in the afternoon we again couldn't sleep, this time due to concrete mixing and pouring that ended again at 6pm, and then again woken up at 7am by the crane. We were not notified by the staff about this horrible noise problem prior to arrival (and actually not even after arrival) even though we contacted them personally to book our reservation. After speaking to the owner about this, we understood that she was fully aware to this being a major problem and have not even apologized nor offered any sort of compensation. Lago di Braies is just a short drive away, and several scenic walking trails start right from the property. • Room: Spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained, with a large sit-out to soak in the magical surroundings. Waking up here was an experience in itself. • Hospitality: From the moment we arrived, we were treated like old friends. The staff’s warmth and care made the stay truly memorable. • Food: Absolutely exceptional! Both breakfast and dinner were included, and every single dish was homemade, hearty, and bursting with flavor. You’re fed so generously—you leave the table full to the brim and incredibly satisfied.
