HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We booked this hotel for overnight stay prior to boarding our cruise ship. I was a worried on the way there from Venice, not knowing what we were going to get. I had no reason to be worried. First I'll address the friendly staff at check-in. She was amazing. Very accommodating and we got checked in with no problems. We arrived here from Venice where it had rained for 2 straight days, so we had wet clothes packed in suitcases that didn't smell so good. The person at the front desk offered to put clothes racks on the back balcony so we could hang them up for a little while. Next, the rooms. The rooms were very quaint and bigger than expected. The bathroom was very roomy, but the shower is in the corner as you walk in the bathroom door. There are curtains to draw at the door and by the sink to shower. The floor is slanted so the water runs toward the drain. However, once you go to leave the bathroom, you have to walk through the wet shower. Also, we arrived after the peak season was over, so the air conditioning was turned off and it was a bit warm that day, so the room was warm. We opened the windows, but there was no breeze, so airflow was limited. Lastly, the restaurant...AMAZING....best food we had in Italy. The breakfast in the morning was also excellent. The staff in the restaurant are friendly, fun, and very...
Read moreWe stayed here for a few nights in the height of summer. It's a beautiful hotel. Everything is aesthetically pleasing, which I loved.
The staff at the hotel and restaurant are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious.
You can hire a bicycle at the hotel for €5 a day. We loved our day cycling around the forests, wetlands, and down the pier. We saw flamingos, ibis, egrets, and geckos.
The beach is just a few minutes' walk from the hotel through a pine forest, and there is a free beach (as well as ones where you pay to hire a chair and umbrella).
The 90 bus stop is very close to the hotel. It will take you to the port where the cruise ships dock in about 10 minutes and to Ravenna in about 30 minutes.
Our room faced the street but we had no problem with the noise. The walls between the rooms are not very soundproof but maybe we were lucky that the people staying on either side of us were fairly quiet.
My only recommendation to improve our hotel room would be to improve the main light as it was a bit stark (see photo), to add a mattress topper to make the bed softer, and to add some hooks or towel rails to dry swimsuits, etc.
All in all, I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel. The restaurant serves delicious food for dinner as well, and the service is just...
