Villaggio Mezzo ortano — Hotel in Rio

The villas have potential but.. as it stood last summer, there were too many issues to say this was even close to an enjoyable stay. After a very long journey, arriving at 9 pm with 2 kids, it was quite shocking to find bare matrasses! If this is a standard policy, it needs to be communicated clearly to guests. The issue was resolved and we were given sheets upon request. The sheets were itchy polyester, which I found unsanitary as the label stated wash at 30 degrees (or cold wash). Upon insisting on cotton, a very nice lady (I forget her name) searched the closet and found us some mostly cotton sheets which we used for kids, unfortunately we had to bear the 50% poly fabric until the end. With only a few villas occupied it seemed they didn't have much in terms of pillows, blankets and sheets as everything we were given was bare bones minimal.|The villa was dirty from the previous guests (and earlier judging by old cobwebs hanging everywhere) and better cleaning was done next day again after complaints to the manager. We were offered a different house, with a hint of wifi signal but we found that quite inconvenient as the we would have had to move all of our belongings quite a distance and loose another beach day on dealing with issues of the house and who wants to do that?|The AC worked well however the only couch is positioned right across from it making it unbearable to sit there.. The furnishings in the house are minimal, all IKEA, with stickers still on the bottom of every cup and pan - very sad..|This could get lengthy but to summarize, the villas are situated in the middle of nowhere, a bad gravel road leads to the complex.. there is NO wifi signal, there is no CELL reception. Upon complaining about this to the manager we were told that no one ever promised us a telephone in our villa.. One day there was no water.. The nearby Ortano beach seemed ok at first glance but then we noticed a sewer pipe running down the middle of it. There are no good restaurants near by so this turned into a vacation with a lot of driving. By the end we were tired and ready to leave. The positives - villas are new and quite spacious with a nice size...

Purtroppo esperienza negativa, prima volta che mi succede su airbnb. Prima di tutto voglio segnalare che la persona che riceve, residente nell'isola, sembra essere un dipendente dell'agenzia che gestisce il residence, è una persona molto cordiale e disponibile. Nel limite delle sue possibilità è sempre presente e da consigli di ogni genere, spero non sia parte di questa mezza fregatura di annuncio.||||Partendo dall'annuncio, diversi aspetti importanti non sono menzionati: 1) residence posizionato in una valle che la notte è molto umida (non si asciuga niente dalla sera alla mattina, si forma così tanta condensa che la mattina le cose stese sono più bagnate che alla sera, per non parlare di chi, come la mia compagna, soffre in ambienti molto umidi). 2) per raggiungere il nostro appartamento dal parcheggio e zona spazzatura dovevamo fare 101 scalini 3) strada per arrivare al parcheggio molto dissestata, abbiamo toccato il fondo dell'auto diverse volte (toyota yaris), la sera passava la voglia di uscire, essendo poi una zona dove a piedi non si arrivava da nessuna parte, lascio immaginare. 4) mancano le zanzariere, in una zona così è pieno di zanzare, unico modo per dormire tranquilli è stare con finestre chiuse (e quindi condizionatore acceso) in pieno agosto||||Altri problemi dovuti a scelte dell'host. 1) pulizia, l'aspetto peggiore, ragnatele in ogni stanza, il soffitto della sala non viene pulito da diverse settimane, il pavimento non era stato lavato e nemmeno scopato, i filtri dei condizionatori non vengono puliti da mesi, water sporco. 2) manutenzione scarsa, lasciando stare il mobilio che normalmente si usura, rubinetto della cucina svincolato dal lavello, perdita d'acqua in bagno, infissi danneggiati. 3) scomodità dei letti. Il divano letto era il materasso meno scomodo (basterebbe solo questo) gli altri materassi erano sostanzialmente molle di ammortizzatori tra due pezzi di stoffa. Mai dormito nella vita su materassi così scomodi. Ci si alzava la mattina con il dolore di dove le molle spingevano sul corpo. Dormire sul pavimento sarebbe stato meglio ma non abbiamo avuto il coraggio...

Wir haben dieses Jahr über Pfingsten für 11 Tage gebucht und waren total enttäuscht und haben uns nach 4 Tagen eine andere Unterkunft gesucht. Gebucht haben wir über Intercharlet. Leider erhielten wir keinen zielführenden Support oder Entgegenkommen. Nicht zu empfehlen.

Jetzt im Detail: Wir haben die Unterkunft in keinem sauberen Zustand übergeben bekommen. Überall Spinnweben, Geschirr noch dreckig, Tisch verkrümmelt, Kaffeekocher total verbrannt. WLAN und TV haben 2 Tage nicht funktioniert. Wenn man in der Küche den Wasserhahn betätigt hat, ist das Wasser auf dem Boden ausgelaufen. Die Gartenmöbel sind nicht für eine 4 köpfige Familie ausgelegt. Zu alt und klein. Kein Möglichkeit darauf zu essen. Bei einem Stuhl ist einfach das Gewebe gerissen, als ich drauf saß. Tat ziemlich weh und führte zu blauen Flecken am Rücken und der Wade. Die ganze Anlage liegt im Grünen, leider gab es zu dieser Zeit eine Raupenplage. Sie saßen überall. Es hat sich Abends angehört, als würde es regnen. Meine Kinder haben ein paar Mal eine abbekommen, da sie auch runter fielen. Morgens sahen die Wege und Terrasse entsprechend aus. Lt. Google ist diese Art für den Menschen gefährlich und kann zu Allergien führen. Eine Ameisenstraße führte über die Terrasse zum Haus und Abends kamen sie unter der Tür ins Haus. Es gab Schnaken in Massen sodass wir die Fenster nicht öffnen konnten, denn es gab keine Schnakengitter. Deshalb war die Außenanlage nicht nutzbar. Das gehört für uns allerdings zu einem Urlaub. Das einzig positive war der nette Hausmeister, der sehr bemüht war. Intercharlet hat uns keine Alternativen angeboten, deshalb haben wir selbst eine Alternative gesucht und noch schöne Resttage in einer sehr gepflegten sauberen Anlage erlebt. Seitdem versuchen wir einen Teil des Geldes zurück zu bekommen. Vergeblich. Jetzt wird uns unterstellt dass wir wegen angeblichem schlechten Wetter abgereist sind....
