We were woken by the desperate screams of an elderly woman in pain and people banging on doors, to later find out that hotel staff chose not to call the fire department to open her door quickly as they were concerned that they would have broken the door. ||||An elderly woman had fallen in the bathroom and was literally screaming for help, saying "Help! Help! I can not take it a any more! Help me!" (In Italian).||||We exited our room to see if we could help, and suggested calling the fire department. A woman said they didn't want to yet as they would break the door. We thought she was the daughter, and trusted she was a family member and the hotel had it under control.||||When this scene went on for a very long time, we realized that they were all hotel staff waiting around the door and we were very worried and upset. ||||This proceeded since we woke and all through breakfast (dressing, going to the dining room, 2 coffees and cakes), so quite a long time. It was very disturbing and especially when we realized no one had been called and there was no family there, we were very worried about this woman. ||||Other guests were also worried and upset. ||||My husband said there is a real risk that an elderly patient could die from such a fall if they broke a femur and lost a lot of blood, and she could have also hit her head. When we realized the door had not been opened, he explicitly told them this and we then realized that and no one had called the fire department, police or ambulance. He again went to them and said that if the door was not opened within one minute he would have to make the call the police and ambulance himself. Fortunately at that point they finally opened the door and my husband checked on the woman. The poor woman was naked and on the floor screaming in pain. ||||My husband is a doctor and checked on her, he did suggest that an ambulance be called but the elderly woman didn't want to and the hotel was also not keen to. He spent more time checking on her and wanted to respect her wishes.||||It was a very sad experience. I would hate to think of my own mother being treated in such a way, being so vulnerable. ||||In hindsight, I wish we had realized earlier what was going on and made the call ||immediately ourselves. ||||As we left, the hotel asked how our stay was. I told them that this was not exactly the vacation we had been hoping for, the first time we had gone away as a couple since our daughter had been born, and we were hoping for a relaxing vacation and to sleep in-but instead got woken by this sad situation-screams all through breakfast too and my husband having to work-which of course he must do in such a situation, but I did not feel it was right that they left this poor woman in pain and at risk for so long. Premetto che ha aspetti positivi e negativi. Iniziando dai positivi si può dire che è vicinissimo alle terme, un gran parcheggio, una sala colazioni molto curata e pulita e la proprietaria è davvero cordiale. Questo però non basta... Iniziamo dal check-in ...dalle 17 alle 19, decisamente tardi. Arriviamo lì e l'hotel è chiuso. Aspettiamo ma niente, decidiamo di chiamare, la proprietaria, gentilissima, si scusa e ci dice che arriva. Dopo un po' ci richiama e ci dice che doveva arrivare un certo Marco che non arriverà e quindi arriverà lei, ma con un po' più di attesa . Eppure sapevano che arrivavamo noi più altre 3 persone. Per scusarci ci offre una bibita, x carità gentilissima ma il problema si ricrea la mattina dopo. Ci presentiamo a fare colazione all'ora concordata ma non c'è nessuno in sala..chiedo alla donna delle pulizie in quanto avevo pagato la colazione salata,. Ben 7 euro e lei lascia le camere x venire a darmi il tagliere. Alla.fjke arriva una ragazzo, anche lui cordiale, che ci fa un cappuccino al posto del lattea chiaro ed un caffè quasi freddo. L'albergo fuori è bello ma le stanze vanno proprio manutenzionate. Bagni con piastrelle rotte, senza prodotti di igiene e la porta dovevi sbatterla x chiuderla. Le ringhiere del terrazzo con ruggine e buchi. Frigo staccato e vuoto. Piumone sporco. Insomma cortesia si ma consiglio presenza e una bella...
