Hotel was clean, staff were friendly, but if wanting food on a late arrival check in you are guided to just eat, deliveroo or a menu they have on the front desk obviously in Italian (not silly aware we were in Italy). So if you plan a late check in here make sure you get some food from a supermarket prior or at least a meal as they sell snacks at front desk but no other options. It's in walking distance to "civilisation" if you are fit. Unfortunately I have plantar issues and after walking all over rome was not possible to roam about anymore.|The hotel is like a motel as all have said before and next to a busy main moterway, however never heard a thing once doors were closed.|The A/C wasn't really cold so had to open windows for some cool air, so unsure how this would be in hotter months. But was fine for March.|Its says 1 indoor pool on love holidays and a hair salon, I did not see these but we checked in at 8pm and was back the next day at 7pm so dark on both occasions. The pool was closed but again we were late back. So not there fault if it was we missed it.|You can get a travel pass from the info stations in Rome, it was 7€ and then 12€ for 48hours, gives you metro and buses unlimited. It's 10€ to the nearest metro of Cornelia which takes you straight to all the sights. Easy to read stops with sight like Vatican listed under the train stop, or Trevi Fountain for example.|The breakfast was a selection of cold meats, juices, granola and yoghurt. Need to ask the lady for hot drinks and she has cakes sat behind counter she goes through when up. My daughter got nesquick and loved it. |Over all if I wasn't in agony walking round in general, nice quiet little place to stay with a city experience.|I would suggest something for food on an evening with the location especially if with children, even just toasties or something.|Would I stay again, possible no due to location. If you could pick it up and put it in a nicer area surrounding yes definitely. It's kind of like the travelodges on side of m1 than somewhere to base for...
Read moreOkay, so if you want the most honest review which also takes in consideration every other review and compares it honestly to the stay... then here it is; The hotel really is motel (need to change the name!), and it really is in the middle of nowhere, no lie. Supposedly there is a bus stop at top of a road, but instead I just got taxis and ubers via an app, as well, much easier than walking up some road and hill. So, I recommend saving up for those if you stay here. I stayed here from 12th-19th and I have a feeling they were not used to someone staying so long. They clean every day, but in all honesty if someone is staying so long they don’t need that, I said no a few times as I was catching up on sleep. But they don’t speak English so come back a couple more times. Don’t mind but yeah, not needed every day. They only offer breakfast and snacks, so yeah, we ended up ordering a lot of takeaways, and I also took pot noodles in my suitcase as there is a kettle, we also had a mini fridge which was ideal to store our drinks, i.e. water in to keep cool, and of course I got big bottles to last me. It’s a shame they don’t offer more than breakfast or at least some taxi service or bus service from the hotel itself, as you end up spending so much money ordering in or getting out. The biggest selling point for me was the pool, and that it is out the way (though I didn’t realise there would be nothing at all nearby and no food). I don’t always like the business so it suited. So yeah, if you wanna be quite abit out of the centre here’s your place, with a pool, its biggest selling point. Just be prepared to spend money to order in or get to town. The hotel is surrounded by motorways, so yeah, it’s really hard to get out...
Read moreMy husband took me to Hotel Boomerang for our wedding anniversary. The place is quant, clean and very picturesque. The staff didn't speak very good English but we used google translate (Theres free wifi) but they were friendly enough. Breakfast was just a normal continental breakfast but it was nice, and everywhere is very clean. The room was well equipped with a tv, small fridge which had two bottles of water in ready for us, towels, toiletries & a hairdryer. It is in the middle of nowhere so you will need to hire a car or get a taxi. There is a bus stop just up the road, turn left out of reception and keep walking straight you will see it on the left, you can get that for free to the Metro which will take you anywhere you want. The hotel do charge taxes which was £6 per person per night. The pool was lovely but cold, It is September though ! but it was clean and nice size. Overall it's a lovely little place, if you want peace, quiet and romance this is the place to go. Oh also the reception staff told us about a nearby restaurant, its really ugly (Which he warned us about) and you probably wouldn't choose there if you was looking for somewhere to eat but OMG when I say the food was out of this world I am not exaggerating, it was amazing, the Carbonara was the best I have ever eaten in my life and the staff were so hospitable, in fact we were unable to get a taxi back to the hotel and the chef took us back in his car and would not accept any money they were lovely. Its called Dar Panetta the address is Via Aurelli, 1281. Highly recommend....
