Relais Sans Souci and Spa — Hotel in Ronciglione

When we arrived at the Hotel, a lady received us with a lot of confusion and dislike. At first, calling my husband by someone else's name. After we identified she asked for our passport which was with her and only at the end after we asked her to give us back, another mistake, no hotel takes the passport and she did not want to return, only in the end.||||She came to tell me that we had booked 2 standard suites, I tried to explain, telling her that we booked 1 junior suite, she insisting that there were 2 standard suites. When I took my cell phone and showed her the reservation voucher, she looked at me in amazement and said she was wrong, but that there were 2 junior suites. Again, tired from the road, trying to explain it, I try to say that we were married, so there was one room, not two. ||||Then she took us to a floor and made us enter into a messy suite, when she realized she asked us to leave quickly. Then she led us to another room that the chambermaid opened and when we entered she ran out saying that she forgot the key.. When we finally got into the right room, what a surprise, after all the hassle: horrible accommodations, room with a terrible odor, hard bed, narrow mattress, but the smell was the worst, cold room, really could not afford to stay in those conditions.||||After some time we decided to leave and go to another place because that hotel, reception and posture does not match what we saw on the internet. As I made the reservation with a colleague who has agency we had already paid the 2 daily, now we are trying to reimburse without success.||||I hope this testimony is useful for anyone who is planning to go to this place. Pernottamento per due sul lago con spa €130 esclusa la spa (30€p/p 2h) un po' caro ma accettiamo pensando al comfort e servizi previsti. ma quali servizi? Arriviamo poco dopo le 11.00, proviamo ad entrare e la porta è chiusa. Ci chiediamo se esiste un'altra entrata e nel frattempo si affaccia una signorina, probabilmente del servizio di pulizie vista la divisa. La signorina si mostra gentile e chiede di cosa abbiamo bisogno. La informiamo che avevamo una prenotazione e lei cerca subito di attivarsi per contattare qualche responsabile al check in che nel frattempo arriva. La signora bionda che dovrebbe accoglierci si mostra scocciata, evidenziando che il check-in è previsto per le 14.00 e ci invita poco cordialmente a ritornare a quell'ora. Ci scusiamo anche per l'incomprensione e accogliamo la sua richiesta chiedendole suggerimenti sulle opportunità nei paraggi non conoscendo il posto. Risponde come se le avessimo fatto una domanda la cui risposta è scontata (Ronciglione) senza premurarsi di fornire maggiori indicazioni. Ci sarebbe piaciuto entrare prendere un caffè utilizzare un bagno o riposarci 5 minuti su un divanetto magari informandoci di qualcosa da fare in zona ma vabbè. Torniamo alle 13,45 facciamo il check in, riceviamo informazioni sul luogo e l'orario della colazione dell'indomani e andiamo nella stanza: stanza molto piccola, senza un gancio per appendere il cappotto e senza un ripiano nell'armadio con balcone livello giardino esterno. Il vaso del bidet sembra cadere appena ti siedi e il relativo rubinetto è quasi scardinato. Il letto molto scomodo sembra quasi che le molle vengano fuori da un momento all'altro. Decidiamo di desistere per non rovinarci il soggiorno anche dopo il disservizio del kit per la spa: ci era stato detto che lo avremmo trovato in stanza non lo abbiamo trovato e ne abbiamo fatto richiesta ricevendolo incompleto (solo accappatoio senza telo e infradito come specificato nella prenotazione) Ci informano, poi, che la prenotazione della spa dovrà slittare di un'ora per via di un problema tecnico-logistico e ci offrono, per sdebitarsi, l'ingresso alla stanza del sale che nemmeno era di nostro interesse (e costava 10 euro in più a persona). Finalmente ora della spa: indossiamo accappatoio (uno con cappuccio uno senza) e scendiamo. Nessuna indicazione, nessuna persona che ci accoglie o ci spiega cosa c'è e come comportarci (fortunatamente non era la nostra prima volta!). Spa piccola e carina ma manutenzione inesistente: la sauna era l'unica cosa che funzionava bene, il bagno turco non aveva vapore e puzzava proprio di bagno, la doccia emozionale era solo vaporizzatore e cadeva fuori l'acqua, la vasca idromassaggio con una bellissima veduta sul lago aveva il vetro appannato e alcuni getti di una delle due cascate cervicali che deviavano. La stanza del riposo prevedeva un fai-da-te con le tisane che non ci era mai capitato ma accettabile. Quello che mi sembra inconcepibile è la temperatura dello spazio dedicato alla spa un po' bassa. Finito il tempo, siamo tornati velocemente in camera (visto il freddo percepito lungo i corridoi) costatando l'ennesimo spiacevole disagio: il freddo nella stanza. Abbiamo provato ad alzare la temperatura del termostato senza successo e, quando abbiamo chiesto assistenza, ci hanno risposto che non sarebbe stato possibile alzare la temperatura per via di un guasto. Completamente alterata dagli innumerevoli disservizi ho tentato di trovare soluzioni alternative nei dintorni senza successo. ultimo: il wifi viene definitivamente meno. La colazione nella norma con un affaccio piacevole ma caffè imbevile. Accortisi del nostro palese disappunto per i disagi riscontrati ci scontano la Spa e ci addebitano i €130, cifra comunque poco onesta. Onestamente questo soggiorno non valeva più di €80 a mio avviso, giusto per coprire le spese sostenute. In quanto a servizi, siete da paleolitico! Location: this hotel is located in a nice, quiet environment, and - depending on which room you have - gives an astonishing view over the lake. That being said, anything you want to do outside of the hotel immediately requires a car, because it's kilometres away from almost everything. There are no walking routes around the lake. ||The room: our room (suite 202) was nicely compartmentalised in a sleeping area, a salon, a wardrobe area and the bathroom. The latter had a huge round window to the bedroom. Quite fancy, but maybe slightly awkward for shy people that you can see the other showering from your bed. ||That window turned out to be a nuisance at night too, when you have to go to the bathroom and make light, which might wake the person still in bed. Especially since the light in the dressing area comes on automatically and can be seen from the bedroom. ||The bed was large and comfy, the room spaceous and clean. ||Food: the breakfast buffet was okay, but not extremely extensive. We did not have dinner there. ||Service: all staff was very friendly and courteous. ||Amenities: free wifi throughout the hotel. The spa was enjoyable, but the Turkish steam bath wasn't in operation though. ||Conclusion: a good place to stay with only a few minor...
