Ristorante "Fiorò" — Restaurant in Ronciglione

I was disappointed. A few people told me to go there, but it was not up to expectations. I'm giving 3 stars but that is generous. We did not have any starter. First dish we had gnocchi al ragù di cinghiale. 5 out 5. Risotto alla crema di scampi. 4 out 5. Tortorelli polpo e pistacchio 3 out 5. Linguine al granchio di mare. 1 out 5. This was the most disappointing. They did not give us anything to break the crab and nothing to get inside. It took almost 1/2 hour to clean it. Even more annoying when one of the staff came by and made the comment "are you still cleaning it?" As second dish we had coregone alla piastra 5 out 5. 2 tranci di polpo verace su vellutata di cannellini e mini crostini di pane bruscato al rosmarino 1 out 5. The most horrible dish I can remember. The polpo was chewy, burnt and insufficient. The bread is for a soup and not for that dish and the cannellini just don't go with it. At the price of 18 euro, definitely not happy. Also had frittura di calamari e persico reale 1 out 5. Again a real bad dish. It must have been prepared earlier as it was very hard and chewy. We had to leave it. To top it up when we got home we found that by mistake they charged us for 2 bottles of water when we only had 1. 150 euros badly spent. Maybe it was just our...

The service was slow to begin with, it was 20 minutes before we were given menus or even offered water for the table (which then didn’t arrive). It was 40 minutes before our orders were taken. However, once our orders were actually taken, the food arrived very quickly - and it was amazing, we all agreed it was well worth the wait. We had a good variety of dishes, pasta, pork chops, seafood. All were delicious. This place gets five stars from us (family group of 6, plus 4 month baby)on the food alone. Service definitely could’ve been better, we weren’t in a hurry and could see that it was busy. If table water and bread etc had been brought right away that would have been great - we would not have felt ignored and our wait would have been...

Posto dalle grandi potenzialità,affaccio e vista stupenda, possibilità di parcheggio ottima, tavoli all'esterno molto carini e romantici sul lungolago. E qui finisce tutto ciò che posso dire positivo. Il locale principale avrebbe la necessità di una forte ristrutturazione, muri logori, finestre con maniglie rotte, bagno che fa a gara con quelli di una stazione o un Autogrill, tenuto malissimo,sporco e con collezione di ragnatele.

Personale molto giovane (pare inesperto) , molto scostante, sia per le comande sia per le richieste che vanno fatte più e più volte. Ad esempio abbiamo chiesto tipo 4volte una coca-cola e tipo 6 o 7 volte del parmigiano mai arrivato. Spesso sbagliavano le comande di altri tavoli e le portavano a noi...

Antipasto mozzarella e prosciutto molto buono. Primo gnocchi al ragù di cinghiale, gnocco buono sugo molto stoppaccioso e pareva non fresco o comunque non fatto in casa ma industriale. Costolette di maiale abbondanti buonine ma nulla di eccezionale. Altro primo pasta fresca con vongole,cozze e polipo dove le vongole erano solo gusci e il sapore generale nulla di che.

Al momento del conto arriva con una bottiglia di acqua in più che in sede di pagamento è stato detto, ma abbiamo dovuto quasi discutere che non la avevamo mai presa (tralaltro non beviamo acqua frizzante mai).

Spero con l'apertura della stagione estiva si migliori tutto in generale, me...
