I have recently spent a week in this wonderful 3.5 star hotel. This has been my third stay in it, and hopefully not the last. It is a relatively small family owned hotel, carefully managed and operated by the Stuffer family, namely, a mother, her son and her daughter in-law. The place shines with its cleanliness. Everything is so well kept. It has a beautiful spa / wellness center, with an outdoor whirlpool (just sitting there, with snow all around you - and the mountains... - is worth everything... It also has saunas, and showers, and a room with fine beds for those who wish to rest after a long skiing day...||The rooms (we took a two room appartment with a kitchen and a small dining corner) are very nicely decorated, all with pine wood, the cleanest bathrooms (showers, not baths), TVs... For further info one would better go to their website...||Breakfast is very rich and made of high quality products, some of which are changing from one dat to the other. And what is most important, the service is so friendly, always with a smile and a lot of good will. The two ladies, especially, are going out of their way to please their customers. ||I highly recommend it for winter vacationers, and if you think of a summer holiday, I suggest you check with them. If they work in summer time as well, don't go anywhere else! ||One last thing: Wifi is not free, but the cost of Euro 3 per week seems more...
Read moreA superbly clean and well run Hotel. We occupied a room on the second floor with two balconies, one with direct views of the mountains. Very comfortable beds, a sitting area, color coordinated drapes and carpet, and good TV reception with English channels. A large modern bathroom with shower, bidet, hairdryer, and large window. ||The breakfast room is cozy, with elegant table linen and napkins, another plus. The breakfast itself is also first rate. Simply a feast for eyes and stomach. Always fresh fruit, juices, lots of cereal, cheeses, cold cuts, eggs and sausages. We had a tendency||to linger and enjoy the cozy atmosphere.||The Hotel has no restaurant, and none near by. There are plenty of outstanding eating places in St. Ulrich and Santa Christina. The bus stop, just outside the hotel stops every 10 minutes during the day, and is free of charge. We left the car in the Hotel parking lot the whole time. We enjoyed riding the local bus to all the sights.||The hotel also has a beautiful wellness area: Finnish sauna, steam room, outdoor hot tub, and a very relaxing, super clean cooling down corner.||Anyone interested in hiking, skiing or simply enjoying this exceptional hotel and the Dolomites will come away with...
Read moreWe love the beautiful Hotel Garni Mirabel, and spent an amazing week there. The Hotel is located with a spectacular view of the the Dolomites, is immaculately clean and incredibly comfortable. The beds are like home and the rooms so quiet, we slept so well. Breakfast includes everything you could want, and delicious coffee. Monica and her staff are so kind and professional, helpful with questions and have great suggestions for local activities, restaurants, etc. Our room had a lovely balcony and beautiful view, lots of windows to enjoy the mountain air, and lovely decor. We have been traveling for 40 years and would say Mirabel is one of the most comfortable places we've stayed. We hiked every day in the mountains, and loved having such a beautiful spot to return to. Can't wait...
