Hotel Rungghof — Hotel in Salten-Schlern - Salto-Sciliar

Our room was nice: large and spacious, clean, lot's of windows, exceptional views, very up to date, nice pine furniture. The bathroom fixtures were nice and modern, the bathroom was well lit and very clean, water pressure and water temperature all very good. The location is convenient to local skiing.||||What was not to like? The towels in the bathroom were last year's: thin, very small, and kind of tatty. Also, only two were provided when we were 4 people in the room. There was no bathroom soap of any kind provided. ||||The bed itself was comfortable, but the duvet was artificial and too small for a tall person--either your feet are out or your shoulders…the pillow was a mean little slab of a thing, filled with uneven sized lumps of some artificial filler.||||The hotel insists on half board which would be fine if the food was good. Considering the self-congratulatory accolades and diplomas posted on the dining room wall you would think that might be the case. On the contrary. The food was bland--pasta overcooked, sauces rather unpleasant, lasagne that sat like lead in the stomach…fish served was clearly frozen, breaded cutlets…the steak was tough. There was nothing on the daily menu that was enticing, and the food was fairly uniformly bland. The breakfast buffet had a decent selection of cheeses and meats, but there was no fresh fruit, an extremely limited selection of alternatives, and even the yoghurt was of poor quality. This is a terrible shame in an area fabled for its delectable cuisine, all the more so for the sense of obligation that required half-board creates.||||The internet charges were a ripoff. 5 euros for an hour, 4 euros for a half hour…which was changed to 4 euros for an hour and 3 for a half hour after complaint. There is no 24 hour option. The internet service is available only in the TV room, which is just off the lobby, so no peace and quiet. Also, the service itself is quite slow and clunky. Not acceptable in this day and age where most hotels are now providing top notch internet service included in the room rates, and making it available throughout the hotel. ||||I give this place a 3 of 5 only because the room was so nice, but the general attitude towards service and the failings should push it further...

Scelto per caso per passare due giorni ad Alpi di Siusi. Ho guardato le recensioni e do ragione a chi si lamenta della cucina. Tutto sommato il prezzo offerto non è una scusa per togliere qualità nel servizio cucina... sapendo ciò io pagherei qualcosa in più per mangiare meglio e decentemente, piuttosto insapore, senza gusto, tutto burro in abbondanza..spaghetti stracotti tutte le sere al pomodoro. Credo che si capisca il perché un posto così abbia pochi ospiti,eravamo in pochi sia in piscina che al ristorante,oltre poche recensioni che ve lo spiego dopo. Posto incantevole per il panorama,struttura un po’ vecchia,Spa con sauna molto carina,con vista sul Massiccio dello Sciliar. Bella Piscina. Hai le montagne davanti agli occhi. Ma non basta almeno per noi,se sei in vacanza,il mangiare conta e siamo abituati a mangiare bene sia a casa e soprattutto fuori. E quando si paga per quanto sia poco o tanto ti aspetti qualità, sapore, gusto…etc.

Peccato che il bagno turco fosse spento, l’acqua dei rubinetti della spa con affianco i bicchieri l’acqua era calda.. noi amiamo la spa nel pomeriggio, dopo il ritorno dai vari sentieri..

Potrebbe lavorare molto bene un posto con un panorama del genere,basterebbe poco (cambiare qualche dettaglio:il frigo bar in camera se è poco funzionante (vecchio,arrugginito) o toglierlo/metterlo nuovo piuttosto lasciarlo buttato così là dentro al mobile,la cucina mi spiace dirlo ma è unta, cucinato tutto con chili di burro, poco gustoso, si mangia per mangiare per fame la sera,ma nessun effetto wow sorpresa,a casa cuciniamo tutti molto meglio sicuro,strano perché difficile trovare qualcuno nel Trentino che non abbia passione per la cucina, manca l’amore per il cibo, quell’attenzione in più ,anche alla colazione/cena fare una torta strudel,una crostata che magari vi viene bene piuttosto gelato sempre/frutta.. la radio accesa in zona spa magari no, il silenzio è d’obbligo,bastano i rumori della natura e il paesaggio per godersi il relax.. gli accappatoi per la spa servono in COTONE , no plaid ciniglia in estate che scalda da morire, poi lavando il cotone è anche più igienico.vi costa 3€ perché si noleggiano.

Personale di sala/cameriere gentili nulla da dire. Struttura tutto sommato carina per passare 2/3 giorni..però dovete mangiare altrove, camera ristrutturata sulla parte del parcheggio piuttosto sul lato delle montagne(dico ciò perché all’arrivo mi assegnano stanza sul parcheggio che costa di più ma ristrutturata mi dissero,chiedo la mia stanza con vista sullo Scilar che avevo prenotato che tra l’altro costa meno ed è meno nuova dell’altra)ma magari con il tempo ci arrivate a investire di più perché avete un posto meraviglioso come nessuno in zona. Preparatevi CONTANTI perché nel 2021 non accettano carte di credito e lo venite a sapere là mentre la vostra vacanza inizia perché i muri del ascensore hanno dei grossi cartelli scritti a mano che vi comunicano questo. Le critiche sono costruttive..serve per migliorarsi. In seguito alla mia recessione lasciata su tripadvisor mi È arrivata la mail della struttura che dice di cancellare la recensione perché non sono cose vere altrimenti mi contatterà il loro studio legale per il risarcimento dei danni. Non cancello e a distanza di una settimana arriva la raccomandata dello studio legale dove sollecitano ancora di cancellare le recensioni. Ditemi se è normale. Qualunque tentativo di risalire all’autore di una recensione da parte di chiunque costituisce una violazione della privacy.È abuso dei miei dati personali acquisiti solo ed esclusivamente allo scopo di fornirmi un servizio e per determinati obblighi di legge,è violazione di privacy oltre che per le minacce tramite mail e lettere dell’avvocato. Esiste la libertà di espressione e la mia recensione è sincera,reale. Come ben tante recensioni che hanno sulla loro cucina. Non vedo nulla di male.
