Il Torriano — Hotel in San Casciano in Val di Pesa

Due to Covid 19 we have just experienced a wonderful last minute 2 week stay. We are a family of five and the three bedroomed three bathroomed apartment provided more than adequate room for three teenagers!|The views were spectacular and the swimming pool was a good size. Due to Covid each family were allocated their own sun loungers and space by the pool so there was plenty of distance between guests, the owner Patrizia was stringent in keeping all the guests safe but still able to enjoy the holiday, in-fact we almost forgot about Covid for two weeks.|The farm is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, there is a wine store onsite for tasting and purchasing a bottle for your lunch or evening meal...|The Romanian couple who help Patrizia run the business are always around for anything you need and are most helpful.|We would definitely return as there are so many things to do and see in Tuscany and Il Torriano is so accessible to all the attractions in the region.|Thanks to Miranda for...

If you are a German family, you are most welcome. I am not. I spent a week here with a number of my friends in a pleasant, reasonably priced, no-frills apartment enjoying the swimming pool and the beautiful vistas, but we did not find it especially welcoming. We were spoken to as if we were an inconvenience and a lack of basic amenities and information, particularly regarding the disposal of trash, led to tension and being treated like insolent children. Unfortunately the local government enforces the wearing of swim caps in the pool, which is as pointless as it is amusing. Great in summer but I would not choose to stay here in winter. The apartment has a simple kitchen with a table and chairs, but no sofa or comfortable...

Some friends and I spent a couple of nights in this farmhouse and we did not want to leave this place! Bedrooms were super comfortable, my bathroom was huge, but the best part of the day was to have breakfast outside, in the main patio, enjoying the beautiful Tuscan landscape. My kitchen was well equipped, so we could prepare a very good meal, and the whole environment was relaxing and stress-free!
