Tenuta Mara Relais — Hotel in San Clemente

Tenuta Mara is a litte biodynamic wine estate. The owner invested a lot in this estate - all is perfectly made and Antonio Palmieri runs with much dedication the casa mara.||The roundings are breathtaking and so is the wine-cellar.||We had the room Roma which was wonderful - all perfectly clean and with very worthy materials. Breakfast was italian with Cornetto, Capuccino, fruit juice, a lot of fresh fruits, cakes and bread. If you have special wishes i'm sure Antonio will try to fulfill them. We also had dinner made by Antonio. Just wonderful! 4 courses made with much love and dedication. Together with the wonderful wines of the property (especially the Maramia) it was a delightful meal and a highlight of the day! There is also a nice swimming pool which can be closed with bad weather. We also used the nice fitness room with modern training tools. We had a fabulous stay at Tenuta Mara Relais. From the warm personal welcome by Amanda to the friendly and superb service by all the staff, we were sad to leave! This really is a beautifully place to stay. Our room was luxurious and nothing was too much trouble. We had a fantastic tour of the winery and vineyard and the art collection has to be seen.. simply stunning! The only feedback for change would be that they expand their food service, as only breakfast was available and a lovely lunch on the day of the wine tour. The food was excellent and we would have liked to eat each evening in the restaurant and stay at the Relais. I can highly recommend Tenuta to anyone who enjoys amazing countryside views, stunning art...

Beh, che dire... Si entra in un mondo incantato, anche per chi come me non è un amante del vino, ma qui tutto cambia!|Si accede in un altro mondo, che non può non affascinare, fatto di arte, cucina, natura e vino, tutto in perfetto equilibrio .|Le persone che ci lavorano, ti trasmettono l amore in quel che fanno e credono nelle cose che vengono fatte lì, lo si percepisce e non potrebbe essere diversamente, d altro è un posto che incanta. La filosofia aziendale è semplice, realizzare un sangiovese in modo bio-dinamico, cioè senza l utilizzo di nessun agente chimico, anzi uno c è... La Musica classica, diffusa nella vigna attraverso un sistema di casse Bose. MAGIA, pazzia, ma soprattutto REALTÀ . Il nostro pranzo si è tenuto nella sala principale, spazio incantevole, ricerca, raffinatezza, design, qua ragazzi, si toccano vette per fini intenditori (io non lo sono), ma è talmente evidente il gusto che non lascia indifferenti. La cucina è a vista, talmente a vista che potresti parlare con lo chef e passargli il sale, ma non lo fai, perché è tutto perfetto, e scopri che è bellissimo gustare certi prodotti a bassa voce. Poi pensi d aver visto tutto . E ti sbagli . Abbiamo visitato la cantina/museo, accompagnati da una ragazza che ci ha elencato non solo le opere (innumerevoli, per valore, quantità e tipologia) tutte fuse con gusto e originalita, ma anche l idea del proprietario, idea che in un certo senso lo renderà immortale, lasciando una quantità tale di bellezza disseminata non solo nella cantina, ma in tutti i 40 ettari della tenuta. Ogni cosa è studiata, ma non progettata, si vede che dietro a tutto non c'è un algoritmo che stabilisce dove mettere cosa, ma solo l amore per l arte, il buon vino e la cucina. E tanta conoscenza.
