This place was a small deception, while we thought that the place was very clean and the design was appealing we had several facts that we did not like.||||- Check-in was only between 14:00-15:00 h. (very inconvenient and the owner was accommodating after a phone call).||- Check-out at 10:00 h. (very early).||- Owner only communicates in Italian.||- The B&B only accepts advance cash payments and refused to give us a receipt confirming the payment. The owner explained that because we went through booking to get the room and because they are a small B&B of less than 8 rooms they would not be allowed to give us a receipt.||- They told us at arrival that we would need to make a cash payment. As we stayed here for 5 nights in high season this was a substantial amount.||- Breakfast was nearly nonexistent, the Breakfast is prepared one night in advance and consists of homemade cake, biscotti, cookies, packed croissants and if you are lucky coffee. While the self-made cake was good, when fresh, the other guests regularly left nothing to eat...or drink. ||||Do not stay here if you enjoy a nice Breakfast! Otherwise the B&B is nicely located near the sea and a 20 minutes’ walk to the city Centre where you will find several restaurants, bars and cafés (that serve...
Read moreWe spent 3 nights in the B&B to visit Santa Cesarea Terme and surroundings. The location of the B&B is close to the beach. Nevertheless, due to the geographical shape of the surrounding, you walk up or downhill. There is a beach club very close but it was completely full at the time we visited, mid-August. ☹ Regardless of the timing of the season, if you want to visit that club please make a reservation at least two weeks before your arrival. The breakfast served was very simple; brioche, some fruits, biscotti, some days cheese and cotto slices, coffee or tea. You can park in front of the B&B. However, space is limited. Wi-Fi connection is also very poor. B&B was overall clean. We stayed in the room “Scirocco”. It was the largest room. We were 3. It is difficult for me to say that it was big enough. One can get unhappy with the size of the room in case of a long stay like a week. There is also a small terrace without any view, close neighbouring to the other room. The bathroom was large but unfortunately with a small shower cabin. The good part of the room was that there were many storerooms for your staff. Overall, I can say it was almost value...
