Hotel Lombardia — Hotel in Seveso

We stayed here as an extra night before the GP at Monza. ||||Basically it's pretty awful. The room was small and not particularly clean. Bathroom was even more grubby and the shower barely worked (not good after a hot day travelling). Looks grubby on the outside and the sign wasn't even fully illuminated. ||||Breakfast was equally terrible, option of two terrible bagged pastries and coffee with nowhere really to eat it. ||||There is some parking next to it and some nice little pizzerias close by. Previous reviews are either outdated, exaggerated, or just plain mean. Faucets work (always have, every time I stayed there in the last two years), hot water works, room heating is fine, beds and rest of furniture are clean, basic, functional, there's tdt (tv), no wi-fi (although there is an internet-enabled computer in the hall)... I mean, sure, it's not where you'd take your wife or kids on vacation, but for that price, what would you expect? Continental breakfast, hot sauna, swimming pool and a masseur? Gimme a break... Their homemade chocolate cake that sometimes accompanies their breakfast offering is...

Quando ho chiamato per prenotare è stato cordiale, educato e disponibile.. avevo già avvisato che la mia famiglia sarebbe arrivata dopo l'orario concordato... ossia verso l'una di notte... nonostante ciò causa maltempo in Lombardia l'aereo ha subito un ulteriore ritardo...e per correttezza ho chiamato il numero dell'hotel per dire dell'accaduto...nessuna risposta. arriviamo in hotel all entrata vi erano due citofoni..in uno era riportato SI (suonare) nell'altro NO ...che faccio ?? pigio il citofono con su scritto SI...bene nessuna risposta..nemmeno al numero dell'hotel... presa dalla sconforto visto i 6 bambini piccoli che dormivano al freddo decido di chiamare il proprietario al suo numero privato....mi risponde dopo due tentativi.. scende alquanto scocciato...per l'orario ci dà le chiavi delle camere..e alla domanda domani è prevista una colazione?? possiamo prendere un caffe ?? MI RISPONDE....LE SEMBRA UNA DOMANDA DA FARE ALLE 2.30 di notte ?? tralasciando questo... PULIZIA NON PERVENUTA... RIMASUGLI DI CIBO NEI CASSETTI consumata da altre persone... RISCALDAMENTO nella nostra Camera NON PERVENUTO.. INSOMMA SE CERCATE UN HOTEL A SEVESO O D'INTORNI NON...
