Villa Acquaviva is a must visit for anyone planning to visit Tuscany! Christina, Fabrizio and all the staff there during our visit were incredible and they were happy to help with anything and everything. From the get go on arrival, going above and beyond for recommendations and support of restaurants, bars, beaches, shops etc as we were checking in. Prior to flying out, I requested if flowers could be arranged in the room for my partner and they hand selected the flowers from a local florists, which just shows the level of service even before meeting us.||The restaurant was shut for 3 out of the 4 days we were at Villa Acquaviva but everyday they made us lunch which was exceptional and really above what was expected as they did not need to with knowing the restaurant was closed. Breakfast there was fantastic, with all of the food and drink available freshly made that morning.||The facilities are extraordinary, the pool is so blissful and really brings an element of peace, as you would imagine in the middle of a wine vineyard with breathtaking views, while taking in the Tuscany sun! Which you must try their selection of own produced wines, simply outstanding each one!||And the restaurant is a must try, all made by Fabrizio’s mother whom is an incredible cook and produced some amazing food.||I wish everyone associated with Villa Acquaviva the very best, filled with a lot of success as they deserve it all for what they are doing there currently! I will definitely be...
Read moreOne of the worst hotel experiences that I have experienced in my life in Italy. Describing the bed as extremely firm does not come close to how hard it was. The pillows were so hard that both my partner and I had a stiff neck and headache the next day. The shower is suitable only for children as it is so small. There is also no place in the shower to place your bath products. The breakfast was mediocre and late. Of equal disappointment was that the promised electric charger for my electric auto. The electric charger did not function the first evening. (In advance of reserving the hotel room and thereafter, I called multiple times to inquire about the electric charger to verify that the charger was available which the hotel staff confirmed was available. I also included the request in my reservation form.). I reported the non-functioning electric charger to the staff who were clueless as to when the electric charger would work. I only booked this hotel because it had an electric charger (and I was prepared to pay for it) to recharge my vehicle to get home. I had to depart the hotel early (I did not stay the 2nd night that I reserved) as I had to find suitable charging facility for my vehicle. I was only given a 50% discount because I left early. I expected more. Would I ever stay at this hotel again? No. Would I recommend it to...
Read moreWe have chosen to have our wedding in Acquaviva and we couldn’t have chosen better. Initially, we were considering other locations in Tuscany, that (as Acquaviva) offered stunning views, amazing food & wine and beautiful settings for the ceremony. Finally, we have chosen this one based on a hunch that it felt more sincere and authentic than the others. What was a hunch year ago, now I can confirm with certainty, as Acquaviva is run by an amazing family who have dedicated their life to this place and really care about their guests.
We had here a romantic ceremony, delicious dinner and fantastic party afterwards. Acquaviva has great facilities, so that we could organise different parts of wedding day (and rehearsal dinner) in different settings. They were very accommodating to find solutions, so that we could fulfil our wedding dreams and ideas.
We, and all our guests, loved our time in Acquaviva and we will keep unforgettable memories from here. Thank you...
