Residence Valpiccola — Hotel in Val di Zoldo

I spent in the apartment for one week with my family.||||As first indication, it is very disturbed, that the owners of this apartments on their internet site states, that the apartments are from the ski lift only150 meters away. This is outrageous deception! Apartments are located 620 m away - ( that can anyone check in google earth) - walk to the ski lift is about 8-9 minutes. It would be interesting te get their answer, if they consider if it is fair to guests, who is just deciding to book their apartments and this informations is quite crucial for their decision. ||||An apartment is a quite little but nice and very clean. We also welcome the heated ski lockers by the ski lift (80 m away).||||The TV programs are only Italians so it is just as if there was no TV. I also dont remember, when I last saw such a mall TV screen (42 cm) - would it be such a problem to provide a normal size TV with some international programs?||||Bathroom is pretty big, but the shower in quite narrow ( 63 cm).||||Wi-Fi is extremely poor and unreliable, as there is no. I dont understand, why they dont provide adequate signal strength in individual apartments.||||Apartments walls are quite thin so you can hear neighbors - there is lottery, if you will get a noisy neighbours. You also know, when neighbour is using toilet - you hear the sounds of next doors fan (which is turned on when you turn on the light).||||When neighbors is cooking and has swiched fan in the kitchen, the smells came also in your apartment so I recommend that when you hear the neighbor fan, that you swiched on also your fan in the kitchen to prevent the smells to go on your apartment.||||The lady of the staff is nice and frendly, but I saw her only when I registrated on the first day and the last day, when I retured te keys - there was no one on the reception desk ever, If you would need some help or ask something - well, even if she would be there, there wouldnt be much of her help due to her poor English.||||In the village itself, where is only one place (pizzeria) where can you go to eat and is open after 17 o clock ( on mondays is closed) so you must provide your own foor or eat on the ski slopes. ||||Ski slopes are very good with a little crowd.||||Due to their deception about the distance to ski lift and unreliable Wi-Fi connection I would advise to reserve some other apartment - there is plenty of it in...

We just came back from our one week ski holiday. We stayed in residence valpiccola (2 families). We arrived an hour late and called them on the way that we're going to be late. Nothing was a problem. They sent us all the check in informations on WhatsApp, but we did not see them, so there was a person waiting for us at the reception to let us in.|We had two apartments, one smaller and one bigger, and they've put us next to each other. The rooms are a good size and are very clean. You can pay for extra cleaning or changing towels if you want. The kitchen unit is very well equipped, but we only used it for breakfast. We loved to eat out aa there's a few good restaurants not far from the place. You can also get breakfast and dinner at the next door hotel. There is a ski school in the residence but you can also find them on the slope. The swimming pool was a good thing, especially for the kids, after a long day on the slopes. |The place is located a few minutes walking (2 minutes by car) from the main ski lift. You also get a locker in the changing room next to the slopes, which is a big help. |We also asked to check out early in the morning to avoid most of the traffic, and that was not a problem as well. |I highly recommend residence valpiccola. Residence is located app. 400 - 500 m from main ski lift, accessible by foot or car. Plus note is that warm ski locker are provided at the ski lift, so you don't have to carry ski and ski boots with you.|Residence is ok, really clean and user-friendly (clean water heater - no calc inside, new hood stove filters, no dust, nice smell). Apartments are quite big, high ceiling, lots of wardrobes and pretty high radiator for clothes drying. We booked a studio with one bed in the main area and bunk beds for kids and it was enough spacious for all of us.|Big balcony facing south-east, nice view.|There's also a pool, but it's not connected with the residence, you need to cross parking lot by foot.|Option to eat in a nearby hotel.|Two small groceries nearby, can go by foot.
