Torre Antica Venice Airport Hotel — Hotel in Venice

Our family absolutely loved staying at the Torre Antica Airport Hotel so much that we stayed there twice. We stayed on our way to our cruise port out of Ravenna and then again on the way back from the cruise. It was so close to the airport, and we were able to get the hotel shuttle to pick us up and drop us off each time. There was a walking/biking path across the road that you could take to the bus stop which was along fields of corn, wheat, and soybeans. As a family of 4 the room was just the right size with two twin beds and 1 queen bed. The best part about the hotel was the restaurant. The breakfast was great with a large assortment of meats, bread, croissants, yogurt, and other breakfast items. However, supper there was the best. We had delicious pasta and some of the best pizza around. Many locals eat here as well. The staff was very nice and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again. The hotel was fine. The customer service was a nightmare . Reserved in November 2023 for a stay in September 2024. I communicated with the hotel by email the day before our arrival to clarify times for the shuttle and breakfast service. They replied at 11:40 the same day.||That same afternoon - just hours before our arrival I received an email from the hotel. The Credit Card used in the reservation was no longer valid. I had neglected to update them when our card had changed. Instead of requesting a new card they advised that the reservation was cancelled.||When I contacted them they advised that my only option was to book a higher priced room as my room had been given away.||Once we arrived the front desk person was pleasant and the room was comfortable. We used the deck - but would have been fine without. With having to pay the higher price I would have...
