Hotel Ristorante Carnia — Hotel in Venzone

My first experience was in 2012, when on my freshly bought motorcycle I reached here after 12 hour travelling. I was quite nervous, because it was hard to find a 24 hour open hotel. Then came the divine spark, our saviour, the Hotel Carnia sign with 3m high letters. Silent (hills) mountains, only the morning rain causes some noise. Excellent restaurant and bar - not sure, but maybe there had been Enzo Ferrari on one day at the restaurant as the photos said on the wall on the restaurant-corridor. Motorcycle can be placed into a closed garage, next to the bicycles of the employees - absolutely safe place. Nice story - we asked the barmaid to make two coctails for us. I tried to explain, that we see a coctail on big billborads in dark reddish colour - it must had been Negrito according to her - and an other coctail. After some time, she appeared with her manager next to our table, apologizing, that they have no fresh apricot for that other coctail. I was so surprised, that they do not even tried to use juice instead, and agreed to have the second coctail to changed to Negrito as well. That honesty deserved some 20% tip...

Buongiorno !||Vorremmo ringraziare il titolare dell'Hotel nonchè del Ristorante sign Livio Treppo per la meravigliosa gentilezza con cui ci ha sempre trattati ogni qualvolta abbiamo chiesto di accedere al ristorante con i nostri tre ( 3 ) cani ( di cui 2 di grossa taglia ).||Non solo ci ha sempre accolto ma si è sempre premurato di trovarce lo spazio necessario affinchè uno deinostri cani - sofferente alle articolazioni delle zampe posteriori- potesse trovare sistenazione adeguata e non sotto il tavolo: per fare ciò il sign Treppo ha sempre fatto in modo di riservarci una saletta e/o comunque uno spazio GRANDE in mdo che esgli potesse non essere sacrificato durante la permanenza.||Come se ciò non bastasse si èsempre preoccupato che i cani avessero a disposizione ben due ciotole di acqua abbondanti e l'ultima volta persino il giardino.||LAST BUT NOT LEAST: il sign Treppo è veramente una persona meravigliosa.|oltre ad averci sempre fatto mangiare in modo squisto pesce di prim'ordine e vini eccellenti in occasione della nostra ultima visita si è preoccupato di custodirci il nostro cane malato in nostra assenza ( un assenza forzata ) per ben tre ore:!!!!||Nessuno mai ha fatto così tanto per noinel corso di tanti viaggi.||GRAZIE DI CUORE:||Le invieremo tutti inostri amici e ... ci creda... sono davvero molti.!!!||Un caro saluto||Annalisa e Mario Gianferrari|COSTA...

Treated to a brand new room, a really good lunch and a huge bicycle garage, by very friendly staff with good English. Only one thing detracted from a 5 star experience.. a brightish light activated by movement, I guess to guide one to the bathroom. Instead every movement in bed all night set it off. I found myself head under the pillows as I awoke. Other than that a great hotel. Good people, brand new big rooms, clean as a whistle and...
