Young guy on reception. On a power trip. No customer service or care., Or no brain. We’ve been in our motorhome for 7 years and travelled all over Europe and visited 22 countries. We’ve stayed in countless campsites from the good, the bad and the ugly. But this was the first time we came across someone who wasn’t helpful in anyway shape or form., The opposite, he was just trying to make things awkward.

We only wanted to stay for an hour as we was passing through., we needed the motor home drainage services and showers.

We arrived late at night knowing full well we wasn’t going to get in, but we just wanted to park out side ready to enter first thing and not to stay in some back end industrial site behind a dodgy estate, When we arrived the office was open and people inside, which we were really happy to see. But they wasn’t happy to see us. Not only did they not want to check us in. We couldn’t park outside the campsite on their property, We had to leave and park next to some smelly dirty bins. Which was an extra 3 meters away. Not a big problem, but for the guy to make the issue was really pathetic.

This is in the dead of winter and the campsite was almost empty. Very quite, no one around, not disturbing anybody,

I asked what time they opened in the morning, they said 7 but we wouldn’t be able to check in till 9.

I accepted all this thinking how friendly and helpful all the other campsites have been until now under similar circumstances.

So 9am on the dot. We checked in. 20€ for the day, I thought was high but we accepted, never complaining at anytime.

To then put us on a pitch that was the furthest away from the showers he could possibly give us . Also only 4 or 5 camper and in the whole place and he stuck us all together. So no privercy for the guys who are already there. If they were sleeping I woke them up.

The campsite was empty, and lovely green pitches next to the showers and all around. Our pitch was really muddy, so I took mud and dirt into the clean shower block and our camper. There was absolutely no need what so ever to be like this. What a shame. I’ve stayed here 3 times before but power trip boy has no idea. Had obviously never stayed in a motor home and was pretty anti social towards...

Paid and reserved online for a pitch for up to 6 people and 1 dog €37 had lovely time time. Fantastic facilities and great bus service just outside the gates. However the following day checked out and was told we needed to pay an extra €20 as our reservation didn’t include a dog or children. Really spoiled our time in Verona. Will not recommend or return. We were blamed for the error but the website doesn’t let you add guests just states the pitch is for 6 people. Also having travelled all over Europe never been charged €2.50 each for tourist tax. However they’ve got you over a barrel as there’s really nowhere else to stay to visit Verona in a motorhome. Complete rip off. Not a good experience at all! Just taking advantage of people wanting to explorer the beautiful city. Would of probably still booked the site even at the ridiculous price but the pricing should be made clearer from the start on the website so people don’t feel like they’re being taken for a ride! Poor job from what should of been a...

We stayed here for 2 days to visit Verona, and overall had a great experience. The staff were very helpful, especially when we found that the bike route into Verona wasn't ideal. They assisted us with using the local bus instead, which was incredibly convenient as the bus stop is located right outside the campsite. The facilities are excellent – the shower and toilet blocks are very clean, and the pitches are large, flat, and come with water and electric hook-ups. Driving around the site is also stress-free, with wide, well-paved roads making parking simple. There's even a small dog-washing area, which was a nice touch! There isn’t much within walking distance of the campsite itself, but getting into Verona is very easy thanks to the bus. My only negative was the Wi-Fi, which was quite slow, running at around 2–4 Mbps most of the time – a bit below what you'd expect these days. You can see my full review and video tour on my YouTube channel Xenarick or by searching Rick’s Travels – Touring Home Helper.

Campeggio nuovo e super organizzato.
