Hotel Residenza Cartiera 243 country house & pool — Hotel in Villorba

It's the family owned hotel with the really warm Italian atmosphere.||||Pictures from the hotel's web page (www.cartiera243.it) exactly correspond to reality (in fact the hotel has been capitally reconstructed recently).||||The hotel stays in 10 km from Treviso and there are a lot of places to visit in this part of Italy. We travelled to Venice by train during our staying in this hotel: 15 min to the Treviso railway station (with big parking for which we have paid 7 EUR/day) and 30 min by train to Venice (direct trains departure 2 times every hour, we have paid 12 EUR for the round-trip family ticket).||||The hotel has own restaurant with good meal and if you prefer to spend evening there, you definitely wont be hungry.||||Resuming own experience I could advice this hotel mainly for car traveller, especially for couples, families who prefer to explore countries by visiting small towns, countryside etc and like atmosphere of remote places. As for us this hotel brings the real warm-hearted Italian attitude in combination with reasonable price (we have paid 85 EUR/day...

I have been to this hotel a few times while traveling for business. It is located approx 5km north of Treviso so you may need your own transportation to reach it.||||Nothing impressive from the outside but an absolutely positive experience since you walk in.||You will be welcomed by the local owner, which will do his absolute best to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.||||Spotless room, nice bathroom, comfy bed. My room had a view to the back garden. ||Even if this is located close to a major road, I had no noise.||||Breakfast is included with fresh pastries and excellent coffee. If you like a larger breakfast, just ask. I was given a huge plate with ham cut to my taste.||Free WiFi everywhere. ||Shopping center 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Lovely bookshop with an impressive art section in front of it.||||This hotel is great value for money. ||Just give them a call. Out of season, you are likely to pay around 60 euros for a single room which, for the services given, is an absolute bargain.||No hesitations: book...

I can’t put into words just what a wonderful place this is. Luca is the most welcoming, kind and generous host you could wish for and he and his team make sure you are well looked after. They are always smiling and you can tell they take a lot of pride in what they do. ||||The hotel is super clean and sits in stunning grounds with a beautiful pool. Yes it is situated next to a main road but this fades into the background when you are lying in the sun, listening to good music and drinking a spritz. ||||The biggest surprise we got was the breakfast. Wow!! Coffee, fruit, fresh juice, pastries, eggs, meats, cheese...anything you want. We felt completely spoiled! ||||Finally, if you are thinking about visiting Venice and Treviso, this is the ideal place to stay. It is 30mins to Venice and 10mins to Treviso.
