Marumine Kanko Hotel — Hotel in Aizuwakamatsu

This hotel was the best stay of our 3 weeks in Japan. The service was super nice and made sure we felt taken care of at any time. The breakfast was okay, nothing out of the world and we didn't try the dinner so no idea how that is. But the onsen facilities are great, even though we mostly chilled in our private onsen on our balcony. Other than onsen you can grab free drinks at the coffee bar, play table tennis or just walk the labyrinth-like hotel floors. The rooms are huge, with a huge bed and huge modern TVs. For one night we downgraded from our valley view room to a traditional Japanese room but I gotta say, that was not worth it. Would rather pay 100$ on top to have my big room with private onsen again. Thankfully, staff arranged that for us.

Marumine Kanko Hotel was an amazing stay. We had a traditional Japanese room with a private onsen and a stunning view over the valley – absolutely wow. The hotel itself is so impressive, really big and beautiful, and you can spend so much time just wandering around and exploring. The room and private onsen were fantastic, and there were so many amenities provided. We also had breakfast and dinner, both very good. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. It honestly reminded me of something out of Spirited Away. The area is very calm and beautiful. Not much to do around the hotel, but I thinks that's kind of the point when you stay here. The onsen was nice with a nice view warm and cold we got the free shuttle car first we got alphard then alphard next nissan we got the japanese style family room

the next the negative thing the normal japanese style room was smelly. When we booked online the photo from the view was great but the reality was awful i got the third floor room the from the view just roof so we asked to change the room but that night the hotel already full. But in 2nd night we got upgraded to the the family room. And the view from this room so beautiful.
