Farm Pension With You — Hotel in Biei

Fantastic communication from the start. Offered to pick me up from Biei and allowed for a late arrival. Straightforward check in and provision of info.|Breakfast was excellent - great variety of food provided on a couple of plates. Was adequate for a healthy appetite! Optional dinner (1800yen) was similarly impressive -salad, veg, sizzling meat, dessert. Great variety and portions again. All food grown locally (except for the plums!) Delicious!|Staff were very friendly; Haseyama-san especially welcoming. They very kindly arranged for us to have an early breakfast, which was very convenient for our early start. All of the staff were very accommodating, friendly, and helpful.|Shower room and hot bath area had room for two and I had no trouble gaining access, but during busy periods there might be a short wait.|Amazing views from the eating area, and going outside in the middle of the night to see the stars is a must.|Train station is 15-20 mins away and trains are about every 2 hours, so they can probably pick you up from Biei. The area is perfect for cycling (my reason for visiting) but if not, a rental car may be necessary.|I will not hesitate to stay here again next...

The staff were really so helpful and friendly despite speaking little English. We asked if they could help us reserve the roasted beef dinner and they did it so willingly. They even updated us the following day even though we return late to the place. We misplaced a toothbrush holder and the staff actually kept in safely for us. We knew that because we tried to ask if they have found it and saw him taking it out from a drawer behind the staff counter. The place is always so well maintained and clean even though there are a lot of shared facilities such as bathroom, wash basins and dining area. We were fortunate to have a great rolling field and mountain view from our room! If not, enjoy the view when you have breakfast and dinner at the dining area. Even though we need to purchase their breakfast and dinner, no regrets! really awesome and quality food! trust the Japanese to serve well and with a heart! Definitely recommend this place. Stayed as a family of 3. |The staff were very friendly and helpful. One day we tried to find a theme park to go to and they were so nice as to help to call if they are open. The food is plentiful (actually more than enough, especially at dinner time) and we had to ask them to reduce the number of dishes. The rooms are a bit small but clean and reasonably comfortable. There is only one bath and only three toilets. |We were there for two nights. It was completely empty. I think a Japanese couple came in for lunch. But otherwise we had the whole place to ourselves.
