Hotel Togariishi — Hotel in Chino

This was a real bargain. The hotel is not in Suwa but it's 8km away. Right off the main highway, there are plenty of restaurants, shopping areas, and sightseeing. There are three restaurants within walking distance and the convenience 🏪 Lawson. The room is spacious! And emaculate. There are two double beds and a sofabed. What really impressed me was the pillow selection; normal pillow on the bed but on the sofa bed there were three tencel pillows of different sizes. I've never slept better. There's a mini kitchen area and a drum type washer in a cubby hole across from the rooms. I didn't realize the kitchen was there until I needed to use the washer. The owner is kind and polite. I don't think he speaks English.(Edit, I received a lovely reply from the owner in English...I was wrong his English is very good.,) I wrote this review in English to help some other foreigners find a nice, quiet...

On our trip to Nagano we stayed there one night. We had two rooms, one for us and one for our Kids. There are very large rooms, with plenty of space and also a couch / seating area where four people can sit without any issues. ||The rooms and hotel seems to be newer, it was remarkable clean. The bathroom was also decent size. ||The owner was very friendly with very warm hospitality and very helpful||There is parking at the hotel. It is also a more rural area, so space is not really an issue. ||There are a few but limited restaurants in walking distance, to get around you will need a car. ||It was definitely a great value...

😊: We were welcomed by the friendly host, who was in communication with us prior to our stay. He even offered to reserve a car park space for us. The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious; there were so many amenities available to us too. Despite facing/overlooking the main road, the room was very quiet (double glazing) whilst giving us a lovely view over the countryside.
