Amazing place. Its like Kyoto street without the crazy crowd. This is one of the olderst street in Japan. The Capital city of Japan before Kyoto. Perfect for few days escape from the typical tourist spots during your visit in Kansai.
Very convinient, local supermarkets, cafe, restaurants, sake brewery, soy sauce factory and an onsen all in a short walking distance. Beautiful river bank for a morning walk too.
Just live among the local life style for few days. Forget being a tourist, a different experience for your Japan trip.
Shogo is a great host. A local man fluent in English and Japanese. Can recomend things to do during your stay and great experience.
Rooms are good, clean and tidy. Perfect to rent the whole place for a family or 2 together.
We are quite lucky during our stay, Shogo has some free time. We did pay Shogo extra for him to organise and take us for a private day trip to visit local boutique sake breweries. 100% recomended to do so! Make sure to organise with Shogo earlier to secure his availability.
Would come back...

Shugo was a fantastic host for our family. His English is perfect (he grew up in Japan and Australia) so communication was a breeze. We got to know him a bit and he's a a really great person too. Highly...
