Several nights booked in executive room with breakfast for family. Not satisfied considering cost-performance. At check-in, the executive lounge for executive room guests was not explained, rather the general lounge only. Only after indicating our knowledge of this was it acknowledged and explained to us. Pillows were too flat, with no substitution available. Only 1 restaurant, and 1 store which is open for 3.5 hours in the afternoon. Food delivery services not permitted. Short breakfast service compared to reputable hotels. Operating 7:00-9:00 entry, closing at 9:30. Collected a numbered ticket, waited until 9:00 before we could enter. After 9:00, entry would be denied? Only leftover food in any case with no replenishments. No ice machine. Requested ice and was told to go to a convenience store located 20 minutes away on foot. Considering the nearest convenience store is 20 minutes away, the hotel only has 2 drink vending machines. These did not accept new ¥1,000 yen bills. Realistically, you need to taxi in/out as there is nothing at a remote site. In-room AC thermostat was ineffective. Could not cool the room. An electric fan was brought up to the room. An alternate room two floors higher was offered, but it was smaller with no sofa lounge. One night, the electric power was out in rooms. This was a great inconvenience: no lights, no TV, no air conditioning. Unable to shower or use the toilet. Called front desk and was simply told all rooms are affected and the issue is being investigated.
More fun at a super spa than this resort spa.
For the price, it falls...
Read moreThe memorable experience with this hotel is the availability of a wide diversified range of international buffet food for both breakfast and dinner.||For breakfast, I found the 3 types of fruit smoothie - beetroot blended with grapes, avocado blended with banana and orange blended with mango, were well-liked by the hotel guests and required frequent top up. It tasted natural and pure without added sugar and seem to have an instant laxative effect on me. ||The burger with wagyu beef also attracted my group members. The salad of tomatoes and brocoli were uniquely healthy.||The hotel was also considerate to ensure there are options for vegetarians and the menu included curry vegetables, basmati rice, nan, etc. There are also dim sum and dumplings for those who favored Cantonese style breakfast.||For dinner, I like the Bokumeshi - rice cooked with eel and burdock. The simmered golden eyed snapper tasted fresh and not salty. Likewise with the clean cut pieces of tuna, salmon and squid with added balsamic vinegar were sumptuous and fresh.||Beer and wine were also free flow beside tea, coffee, soya milk, fresh milk. I like most is the chia seed with strawberry yogurt. ||The hotel also has an onsen hotspring. It was very refreshing after taking an onsen bath in the morning.||While the room toilet may look old, the hotel seems very generous in providing the best variety of sumptuous food...
